    I got my Dyson on Friday and checked my bank account...I was charged £135 too!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

    Great hoover though!
  • I still havent received my Dyson. After calling Debenshams, I found out they had a query, since the credit card no. was incorrect or something. When my mum told them thats amazing, since the credit card company said Debenshams had tried to see if the card was real, and if it was the wrong no. etc, then how is it possible?

    Then they said wait a moment.... comes back and says, ok its all fine now, will come anytime before the 21st Jan!!! :eek:

    Only problem, is that delivery address is to a block of flats, which have an entry door system. So if they come and deliver, they cant even leave a note saying we came!

    Debenshams replied: they will try 3 times. If not successful, then ur order is cancelled and u get ur money back!:mad:

    THEY CAN ATLEAST GIVE A DELIVERY DAY:rolleyes:(a 5 hour slot or so would be wishing for a miracle)

    All those who have been charged more than you should have, have you rung the number above? I rang and I was on the phone for about 10 minutes but they did eventually refund it. I think they passed me to debenhams online?

    Yes, i did, and did get transferred to debs online but got the same response - put your enquiry into an e-mail - extremely frustrating!
    Guess i'll be ringing them again tomorrow!:(

  • I bought a Henry for £90 and after 2years use I still have had NO clogging up or lack of suction (unlike my dyson) and it also uses bags (no dust in face when emptying) if you like Dyson then its a good deal but after owning a Henry never again will a Dyson be in my house. :)

    Yes that was the number I rang and I was put through to a 'manager' who was extremely arrogant and made it clear that Debenhams would not be refunding me. I was told that I had acted 'fraudulently' by using codes that were only meant for gold card holders. I am now trying to cancel my order and get a refund but apparently this can only be done by email (which they ignore anyway):mad:

  • very dissapointed with debenhams my dyson came friday charged £135 rang but wont budge on the price so sending it back on saturday wont bother shopping with them in a hurry
  • I have also had experiences with Debenhams and through searching through websites online i have managed to find a company who have a better refund policy and competitively priced Dysons.

    When I had a problem with my Dyson which I have to say for a DC07 Origin priced at 137.99 I thought I would have major problems in obtaining a refund. But i found out through ringing goshopdirect.co.uk that I had a 5 year warranty with Dyson directly.

    Overall i was very pleased with this service and would recommend to others as I have already done with my family and friends

    Just wondered if anyone has recieved a response to their email yet?

    We 'purchased' a divan bed using the codes, and have had £40+ taken out of our bank account more than the order confirmation.

    Phoned on 2 occasions and each time told they don't have access to the systems and we have to email our query.
    We have used the online form, the email address, and thirdly sent a letter with the attched order confirmation by post.
    But as yet haven't recieved a reponse from either 3 methods.

    Further more we've had no confirmation on when our bed will be delivered, and again was told we have to email for a delivery date!!!
