Work is going ok. It's been pretty boring but yesterday I went to another site for some refresher training. I spent time with someone really nice and we had a good chat.
I did yoga on Tuesday which was great. My stomach still aches today. It's a new to me class. I think I will go back as I really liked the teacher. Apart from that and a coffee on Monday I've spent no money this week which I'm pleased about. I'm going out to a knitting group this evening so I'll buy a drink and possibly some food there.
Looking forward to the weekend. I have an outdoor swim booked. Hopefully the weather will be nice. Not sure what else I'm going to do. Perhaps a cinema trip?

As a fellow knitter and crocheter I understand the pain of the wait for wool delivery! And then the delight of the squishy mail :) Hope you can get started on your next project soon. What's it going to be?

Amazing open water swim this morning. Then I did a food shop and picked up food until payday. After that I knitted for a bit, then had a nap and now I'm knitting and watching a film. I need to vacuum and make potato salad tomorrow plus probably more knitting. It's warm!

Melting in the heat. I'm trying to drink enough water. Work is going well and everything is generally good. I'm looking forward to the weekend and another open water swim. I need to do a food shop but I might wait until Sunday when it cools down.
I had a nice meal at my sister's house with my sister and her boyfriend yesterday. She made a nice chicken salad that my dad used to make in the summer. It was lovely to see them both.
My flat gets warm in the summer and it's on the fourth floor and south facing. I'm managing to sleep ok which is good.
I get paid tomorrow including all my overtime from May which is good. I think I might get a train ticket to go and see my friend in September as I haven't seen her for quite a few years. She has moved to a flat with a spare room so I won't have to pay for accommodation.
Enjoying the weather but it is too hot really. I'll be glad when it cools down a bit.

Not loving this weather. Got about 6.5 hours sleep past night and 5 the night before. What can you do. I went open water swimming last night and going again this morning.
Got paid on Thursday. I paid £100 off debt and paying another £150 on 2nd July. I bought two train tickets, one for my holiday in September and one to go and visit a good friend who I haven't seen for a few years. Someone recommended a site called Splitsaver (I usually use thetrainline) and I saved a lot of money so I'm pleased about that. I've bought some of my nice shampoo and conditioner as well plus 3 magazines. I'm struggling to read books but find magazines a restful and achievable way to read. Hopefully I won't buy very much else this month.
I put £200 on my Monzo card for drinks, meals out etc which I know is loads so should be achievable. After my payday shop I have £200 left in my food account which I also hope is achievable. I'm going to batch cook for the freezer as that's cheap and keeps it easy for after work. Sardine puttanesca sauce on Sunday. Oh - I bought some more of those silicone soup moulds to freeze pasta sauces. They're very useful.
Hope everyone is ok.

Only 24 degrees in my flat this morning, blissful. Had as good a day as possible yesterday in the heat. Swam first thing at the lake, did some out the house jobs, collected a parcel, got my prescription, bought a CD. Came home and flopped, then went out a bit later to take some leaflets to the library and get a driving licence application form.
Batch cooked and froze sardine puttanesca and boiled some potatoes to make potato salad.
Today I'm going to the seaside with friends, we're going to have fish and chips for lunch and maybe a dip in the sea. Looking forward to it.

We didn't end up going to the seaside, plans changed so we went to a National Trust House. It was very interesting although my hay-fever was bad in the garden. I paid for coffees and bought the driver their fish and chip lunch and also bought a plant. Tonight I've also donated to a Gofundme for a yarn dyer who is reopening. They used to be one of my favourite dryers.
My sleep is really messed up. I fell asleep last night at 6pm and woke at 1am. Hoping for a bit more sleep later.
Must reign in the spending!

Good yoga class, went for a couple of lemonades next door afterwards. Life is certainly cheaper when you don't drink. I've vacuumed and my flat looks very nice. Getting my eyebrows tinted and lip waxed tomorrow then on Thursday I have my knitting group. Quiet weekend probably, just a swim on Saturday morning, coffee with a neighbour and batch cooking on Sunday. Off to visit my mum next weekend.

Feel dredderz, work staff party on Friday. Made a bit of a fool of myself plus all the dancing! And then some. Not looking forward to work on Monday.
Am doing an online course today. It only cost £100, I'm still trying to get my side hustle off the ground. I have OTE of 2k. Done all my money bits and bobs, ordered some earrings (don't!) and just watching Saturday Kitchen. I get the marks back from my Access course in 3 weeks. Starting BSL in the autumn. Have an art residential in September. Talk about life long learning. NO MORE COURSES UNTIL SEPT 27. That is my vow.
Family are well. Never see them as they're too busy. Wild swimming is great. Might rejoin the gym 🏋️♀️
Batch cooked 5 portions of no fry paneer curry last night. The paneer was tough as old boots when I sampled some.
I need toilet paper and coffee filters to get to the end of the month.
