Work is going ok. It's been pretty boring but yesterday I went to another site for some refresher training. I spent time with someone really nice and we had a good chat.

I did yoga on Tuesday which was great. My stomach still aches today. It's a new to me class. I think I will go back as I really liked the teacher. Apart from that and a coffee on Monday I've spent no money this week which I'm pleased about. I'm going out to a knitting group this evening so I'll buy a drink and possibly some food there.

Looking forward to the weekend. I have an outdoor swim booked. Hopefully the weather will be nice. Not sure what else I'm going to do. Perhaps a cinema trip?

As a fellow knitter and crocheter I understand the pain of the wait for wool delivery! And then the delight of the squishy mail :) Hope you can get started on your next project soon. What's it going to be?

Amazing open water swim this morning. Then I did a food shop and picked up food until payday. After that I knitted for a bit, then had a nap and now I'm knitting and watching a film. I need to vacuum and make potato salad tomorrow plus probably more knitting. It's warm!

Melting in the heat. I'm trying to drink enough water. Work is going well and everything is generally good. I'm looking forward to the weekend and another open water swim. I need to do a food shop but I might wait until Sunday when it cools down.

I had a nice meal at my sister's house with my sister and her boyfriend yesterday. She made a nice chicken salad that my dad used to make in the summer. It was lovely to see them both.

My flat gets warm in the summer and it's on the fourth floor and south facing. I'm managing to sleep ok which is good.

I get paid tomorrow including all my overtime from May which is good. I think I might get a train ticket to go and see my friend in September as I haven't seen her for quite a few years. She has moved to a flat with a spare room so I won't have to pay for accommodation.

Enjoying the weather but it is too hot really. I'll be glad when it cools down a bit.

Not loving this weather. Got about 6.5 hours sleep past night and 5 the night before. What can you do. I went open water swimming last night and going again this morning.

Got paid on Thursday. I paid £100 off debt and paying another £150 on 2nd July. I bought two train tickets, one for my holiday in September and one to go and visit a good friend who I haven't seen for a few years. Someone recommended a site called Splitsaver (I usually use thetrainline) and I saved a lot of money so I'm pleased about that. I've bought some of my nice shampoo and conditioner as well plus 3 magazines. I'm struggling to read books but find magazines a restful and achievable way to read. Hopefully I won't buy very much else this month.

I put £200 on my Monzo card for drinks, meals out etc which I know is loads so should be achievable. After my payday shop I have £200 left in my food account which I also hope is achievable. I'm going to batch cook for the freezer as that's cheap and keeps it easy for after work. Sardine puttanesca sauce on Sunday. Oh - I bought some more of those silicone soup moulds to freeze pasta sauces. They're very useful.

    Hope everyone is ok.
