Work was so boring today. I know i should use my initiative and create valuable tasks that contribute to team functioning but I honestly can't think of what.
Back home, air fryer tea for dinner. I must do a debt round up as it has crept up due to using catalogue credit. They make it too easy!
Nearly finished my final assignment. I just have to add the references in. Usually I do them as I go along but I wrote in a different way this time so I didn't. I think it's ok. I will definitely get a distinction on the course unless there's a nasty surprise in store for me. I will be relieved to finish. I have a list of things I want to pick back up that I haven't been doing since I started my course like reading and using the Olio app.
I have some holiday soon. Can't wait. I am supposed to go to London on Saturday to see an old friend.
Finally some amazing news. My missing friend has been in contact. It was only an email with a lot of other people copied in too but at least he emailed.

I don’t think you can really start to tackle your debt until you know how much it is. When you started this thread in April, you said there was some guesswork in your figures - have you actually done a calculation?
it’s painful I know, but you can’t really make a plan without knowing what the goal is.Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.0 -
I wrote down all my spending and made a debt payoff spreadsheet using AI. Hopefully this will keep me motivated.
I don't think I necessarily am going to see my friend in London this weekend. She is very high-flying and she has a family so her time is very limited. I need to Olio some stuff at the weekend and do some work on my friend's poetry. She has had some limited success reading her poems at quite prestigious local events where she lives and in her local writing group and I think she wants to take the next step and enter some prizes. The problem is she is hopeless at admin so it falls to me. I am going to do a spreadsheet of prizes and edit her recent poems. I don't do much, she is very dyslexic so I literally look at the spellings. Anyway that's my weekend. I also need to list some wool to sell. It's very tempting to do a massive sale. I could do with it as I'm paying back the £410 the emergency plumber set me back plus debt. Something to think about. If I could get rid of 20 skeins of wool at £10 each I would be laughing. It would also be nice to go into winter able to buy wool for projects.
Also the gym which is basically free as I have a membership.

Get the wool listed. That would be a great boost for you.

I'm so tired. I'm going to try not to eat dinner until 5 and then stay up for a while. I'll get some wool listed. I also have to do the washing and I feel like I have something else on my to-do list.

Feeling better after dinner. Going to list some wool now. I have decided to set myself a challenge of shopping in Aldi and Lidl all the way through June. Not a penny in Tescos!
I'm probably still going to London on Saturday and that way if my friend is free we can grab a coffee. I have found 2 galleries at the British Museum I really want to go to (got a free ticket) and need to pick something up from Southall. A nice day out anyway. I will get a sandwich for lunch so I've allowed £10 for that. Better get listing that wool!

I have listed the wool but weekday evenings aren't a good time to sell. I had one nibble but she's not come back to me. Might be taking a sandwich to London!
Going to message my friend about meeting for a coffee. I don't know how to work it to say I'd love to see her and keep it casual but give her an out if she's busy.
I'm doing a sponsored swim for lung cancer. I bought a new swimming costume (ridiculous also it was on credit). It is good for open water swimming as it's thick. It was the last thing I bought on credit. Hopefully ever.

saying you’re there for another reason and have a bit of time set aside for coffee/lunch and would love to see her at some point if she’s free. Might work.

You did not need to buy a swimming costume on credit!

I don't need to buy anything on credit! I don't have any needs except stuff money can't buy.
Work was OK, lots of stress and panic mainly caused by me but it's behind me now. I'm now watching Pointless with my feet up. I am so restless at work. I can and will get through it.
I went to see some art after work. It was really good. Me and my friend had a good old chat afterwards with the marketing lady. I think she is basically the whole gallery! It was textiles. I like textiles.
Speaking of textiles nobody has bought any of my wool. I am secretly glad because it is so nice. I have decided to send my nephew a hat and a pair of socks I made already for his birthday.
I think my niece is upset with me again. I will just let her be.
Right! I need to put the wool away so it doesn't fade in the sun. The weather is gorgeous today. I need a summer hobby. It needs to be like knitting. It can cost money but not right now money, like swimming. It can't be tiring, like the gym or walking. Ideas on a postcard please. I have rejoined meetup. com. I'm doing a photo walk at the weekend and a virtual walk around New York on Monday. Maybe meetup will be my summer hobby.
Here is a heron I saw outside my flat. It's not a very good photo but you can see it. Not sure it's actually going to load.
