I used to work for a Broadcasting Corporation that was based in Britain
Just changed jobs and now working for a well known organisation that works against domestic violence and supports those experiencing it/ surviving it.

So far loving the new job- feel like I'm doing something worthwhile. And the pay is better!

I work as a personell manager in an Arts/Community type venture... I have perfect job, it's in beautiful building with lovely people. Sadly pay is poor. But I get free coffee so pretty happy all in all.

I work for the civil service as well - didnt reaslise there were so many on here i work for the CSA and dont mind it at all money could be much better though

I ppent 15 years working in Public Relations and after anightmare year late 2006/2007 took redundancy in May last year and vowed never to work in the industry again and am now working from home self employed answering all sort of weird and wonderful questions.

Not regretting the decision one little bit!! (although miss the salary!!)

But were being made redundant in feb, damn outsourcing !!
