I'm PA in a College. The pay and holidays are good and I get sick pay. I also pay into a final salary pension scheme (the same scheme as the council). I love my job - although it can be stressful at times.
The only downside for me is the travelling to and from work.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

I'm a Project Coordinator for a corporate and retail asset management company, looking after a group of project managers. I love it!
Started off working in the call centre of the company, taking calls from people that work in banks who have problems, be it plumbing, waste disposal, just looking after their buildings essentially; then moved a floor up working on the escalation/performance management team, dealing with high level and client escalations, where $h!t had really hit the fan, then got poached for projects on the floor above!
I'm one of the saddo's who absolutely loves their job!

All credit to you for doing that - I used to do a lot of youth crime defending work, and wanted to bang heads together almost everyday!
Me - "what's your defence? What happened?"
Yob - "wha'ever..."
Me <muttering> - that's going to be a great story to tell the court......much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I trained in animal care at college but sadly the jobs aren't available around here because colleges are churning out 100's of these newly qualified people and unless you have a job lined up the jobs vs candidates are so out weighed no one gets a job.
Maybe i shouldn't go back to college then as thats exactly what i want to do :rolleyes:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
