I'm a Probation Officer... have done it for a few years now but don't really enjoy it and feel like I am just doing it for the reasonably decent wage, very good hols (31 days :j) and final salary pension. Like any government job, it's become all about targets and spreadsheets and less about helping people which is what I trained for in the first place . I would love to work with animals (some would say I do now anyway ), they are much more appreciative of what you do for them!Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0

Well I started at my present company four years ago as a Payroll Manager, since then I've add HR & Training Manager to the title.... well variety is the spice of life! :rotfl: (only downside is I'm not earning the equivalent of three managerial wages! )

right paps back on form
I work full time as a customer adviser/canteen assistant. However i am also an artist making handmade cards/frames for sale in my business. I trained in animal care at college but sadly the jobs aren't available around here because colleges are churning out 100's of these newly qualified people and unless you have a job lined up the jobs vs candidates are so out weighed no one gets a job. At the moment as i am in no debt and what i spend is less than i earn i would like to get a large amount saved (over £10k) so this job is perfect i can mostly walk out of there and forget about the day. Who knows where i will be in 10 years time though
