Good afternoon, it's a lovely sunny day here. So far today, I have been busy with uni lectures and paid stuff in the form of dog walks.
My list for the rest of today
- Laundry x2 loads 1 load done
Pay money into the bankMake a payment on cc- Finish writing the draft of my next uni assignment
Load the DW and switch it on- Make Mr T shopping list
Take DD to the stables so she can feed and check on her ponyTake DD to her guide group
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday

Afternoon all. Three washloads done today and line dried, including bath towels, blankies (the ones we use in Winter on our laps), two coats and general washing. Went to a garden centre for coffee and a wander. I managed to cut up the old broken washing basket so it would go in the black bin after waiting 2 weeks for DH to do it. Amazing what you can do with a pair of garden loppers. This morning I vacuumed through downstairs and up the stairs and washed the kitchen floor. I even sat in the back garden and read for an hour this afternoon - first time this year. Hope everyone's OK x

I am currently in the middle of clearing out the DR as they've rung to say my bookcase has arrived and they can deliver in the morning! Just a few bits to put away, really. DD can help me reset the table when she gets in; she wasn't coming home tonight but plans have changed - this means I haven't planned tea - well I have - I had a YS quiche lined up for me but she doesn't like quiche…so I have that to portion and freeze now.
Got all the tea towels from the vol job dried, they are folded ready to go; I have a meeting tonight so I will take them then.
And the missing car key has surfaced! It was in the bureau - why I didn't look there properly before I will never know.
WUALTD.

Not me - I'm wondering if it's a feature to prevent selective editing which changes the meaning of the original post.

@Valli - You probably did look there, but the house gremlin hid it from you. Happens here all of the time. One of my roommates claims it is my brother's ghost, but it was happening before then too. However, given the number of times it happens, the two of them could be working together now.

I am recording today's activity even though I'm feeling like I haven't achieved much on the basis that every little helps (apparently)
Washed and line dried a new bedsheet - folded and put away
Towels washed, line dried and put away
Baked a cake 🙃
Hoovered bedrooms and all clothes removed from chairdrobe
Printer put away (which means I'm bound to need to print something v soon)
Office is much tidier and dusted. I swopped the dining chairs for the chairs we use at our office table and both rooms look refreshed
I'm now enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake while watching Masterchef

DD eventually reverted to her original plan last night and didn't go home so it was quiche for me with the rest put in the freezer. I love a quiche and am baffled by the Vallikids dislike of them…
3 lots of washing to peg out but I am hoping for some sunshine first - there's been a fine early-morning drizzle, but I am also on standby for the bookcase delivery and I'm not sure I will hear them if I am out in the garden - not that the garden is huge or anything.
Anyway, when it is delivered I will be able to move the books from the heaps in the bed in the office/guest room so I am looking forward to that.
Need to decide what's for tea - I am tempted to make a biggish batch of bolognaise sauce but can't decided whether to do lasagne or spag bol and freeze the rest.
