You will need to give them your T212 Cash ISA Account ID under your account.
- Go to Menu
- Select Settings
- Go to My account
- Swipe to the Account details section
- Find your Account number there.

Thanks. Do you need if there's any catches? It says you can transfer in and doesn't mention a lower rate for that.

I do not have Cash ISA with Tesco yet so I cannot comment on that, I transferred my one to Aldermore.

Thanks and I presume transferring a 2025-2026 ISA has nothing to do with the allowance being reset in April? I can still open a brand new ISA somewhere else and put £20k in after 6th April?

Thanks, I think Tesco might want a sort code and account number though?

There are many providers whose ISAs aren't uniquely identified via sort code and account number, so transfer forms will generally include an alternative option for 'roll number' or similar, i.e. an account number that's sufficient to identify the ISA concerned uniquely.

Thanks. It's annoying that I have to wait for a form from Tesco in the post and then post it back to them. Wish it was all done online.

That is a very good question ! I must have read one of @subjecttocontract's posts years ago and have repeated it ever since without giving it a second thought 😁
Of course, my OCD nature means I might now have to go back through well over 3000 posts and correct every single one of them… 🤣

Yes - this transfer won't affect your 2026-27 ISA allowance. You'll be able to open a new ISA (or ISAs) for that or you could pay it into the Tesco ISA you're opening (from 6th April onwards) if you wanted to keep all of your ISA money together for convenience.

Perhaps, if one could be bothered, one could go back through the @Eskbanker previous posts and see if there are any mistakes with spelling, punctuation or abbreviations as its important to point out mistakes apparantly.
