Lloyds has always been my main bank and I've never had any issues. I've never had issues with Nationwide or Santander either though.
Nationwide's been talking the most about trying to keep its branches open so if that's the most important factor it may be the best choice.

Santander - stupid 8-character alphanumerical OTPs (almost 3 trillion combinations!) for logging in in a browser. And, to add insult to injury, they disabled 'paste'. Idiots!
V4UE3CGM, UD2ZTKSC, XEF53XUJ ….

There are several extensions for your browser of choice that'll fix the cut'n'paste thing. I use the wittily titled "Don't F*** With Paste".

Thanks all. My local Nationwide is open 5 days a week. Again, I’ve been with them in the past - ok, but still shall we say, a bit stuck in the past. What really attracts me about Santander is the transfer limits and effective speed of these. I’ll mull it over some more!

I know, but IIRC I've done this through changing some settings in FF.

I have a Santander a/c but there are lots of things I dislike about the bank........don't like their app, don't like the fact that I always have to queue in branch, don't like their log in process, their limits, their web site can be difficult to find what I need, the branch looks like a bookshop with them trying to give used paperbacks away, I always seem to pick one of their cash machines that doesn't work, they've stopped sending me paper bank statements, I don't like their logo, their documentation doesn't show their address, when I log in online I'm prompted to use my phone app......if I wanted to use my phone app id have used it in the first place, difficult to close any account and it takes them a long time to close it, they have stopped issuing alerts which is a big shame, they always seem to have lots of spare staff in the branch standing around doing not a lot but other than all of that, their isa interest rates are poor and I could probably think of a few more negative comments if I had more time BUT they do look after my money, their Edge a/c is a good place to save £8K@ 6% and I've been with them for about 10 years.

If you have things set up properly, you are not asked for an OTP on login.

My statements do show Santander's address. It is next to the envelope symbol.

We already discussed this at least once. I followed all recommendations to no avail.

If you want things set up as securely as you can then you should be asked for an OTP on each login.
Depends if you value security over (in)convienience.
