I have been busy with OATS this week:
Two hours of his study clearance
One hour of his outside workshop clearance
Cleared the patio of plants, plant pots, random things left by cats, etc
Taken lots of ancient electrical things for recycling - they had been in a pile for at least 18 months
Rehomed several things via the village free page
Made some major inroads on tidying the garden and spring pruning, plus I actually squeezed them into the green waste bins and got DS1 to chop the bits that are beyond my shoddy hands.
Go me.

Go you indeed 😊 xx
I've finally got round to signing the new 2 year LPG contract 😊 Cleared another bathroom drawer last night, and did a quick weed of the patio after sitting out there for lunch in the sunshine 😊
Off to clear out another bathroom drawer...

beanielou I regularly have 'nothing done' days too, and I do find it helps to frame them positively like you have. I miss being able to just crack on with stuff but I am doing my best with the resources I have available.

Absolutely this. I’m trying to not beat myself up. Just because someone else can do lots doesn’t mean that I can. Comparison is the thief of joy( or being content)

What a lovely feeling having fewer urgent need to do things in my head. I do need to finish that awful tax malarky this afternoon/evening but that's the only real need to do
I will also clean the coops and do general weekend stuff, but I cleaned the kitchen and hoovered the living room before I went away and I changed the bedding last night.
I'm not sure if I mentioned these other OATs I did recently, but I've persuaded my GP to take over one of my private prescriptions, that should save me around £30 to £40 a month. She is lovely but I try to avoid her and see nurses instead as she is such a worrier and I spend the whole appointment reassuring her every time I see her. I also figured out what size bra I am after losing 30odd pound. The same size I thought I was, but all my bras were old and stretched so once I bought a new one in that size it fitted. Why is bra stuff one of the major things I put off?
So today I will aim to clean the coops, drop a prescription off at the pharmacy, get some salad for the tortoise and pick some tasty weeds for him, maybe spend an hour in the garden doing something useful, and this evening give the tax stuff another hour or two. I might also, of course, find something else random that I'd like to spend my day doing instead, but it will be spent around the house either way as I need to rest after a busy two weeks at work.

My OAT needs to be making a list, prioritising, and being realistic about what I can actually achieve…
