I haven't been doing that much as my back is still bothering me. I did book the cleaner for next week for a regular clean so that is set up. I have a massage booked for this morning and I am going to go for a walk beforehand to try and feel less stiff from sitting around so much. It looks like nice weather at the moment.
I did order my regular prescription this morning as well. I'm going to carry on with my book group book when I get home as my husband is going to take my place at the class today.

I tackled an OATy OAT today, I reopened the box of old school stuff that turned up a few months ago and spent 15 minutes going through it. I was pleased to see all the progress by that time and went for a second fifteen minutes. I now have a pile of 1970's and 1980's exercise books to shred. :-) Planning to do another 15 minutes tomorrow. I want the box dealt with before we put the house on the market next month. I also went to the charity shop with a fresh bag before it becomes an OAT. I listed two items on Vinted too, my halo is glowing!
The really outstanding OATy OAT I'm avoiding is my friend's bag I'm sewing. It's his birthday in April and I didn't make it in time for his birthday in April 2024. I am feeling very daunted by it today. Fear of mucking up what I've already done. Not being able to remember what was next/what I was doing. Not being able to see well enough to thread the needle. Ah that reminds me I need to book an eye test! I will at least get the machine out and look at the bag even if I'm not brave enough to sew the next bit today.

My Mum has started to put a black or white piece of card on the far side of the needle she says it is so much easier to thread.
Black card or paper with light coloured thread, White card etc for dark thread.

Finished the last of the pot of strawberry jam. That was one of three so if I can finish another pot before we move then that means we will be moving with an acceptable amount of jam, which is one pot
Must clean the sink and draining board tomorrow. At least it still counts as the first half of the month in which to finish the start of month big clean

I posted something I sold on vntd, and I've started washing the sofa covers. I'm sure I shouldn't be this excited about washing sofa covers, but my house has been smelling rather doggy and I now have the airer and dehumidifier up in the spot the boxes were in.
More worrying news is that my tax log in thingy has not arrived in the post yet and I only have 5 days til the deadline. Eek! I'm not even sure I've seen the postie this week.

I did take a walk down to the beach yesterday before my massage, but I misjudged the time it took to walk there so I had to turn round and walk back almost immediately! The walk and the massage made me feel less stiff.
I decided to put my dog into the kennel next weekend and go out as there are a couple of things I wanted to do and I feel like I have stayed in too much the past week. I called up to book her in and I need to book tickets later.
It is a gorgeous day here so I'm going to walk to the beach again and I need to pick up something from a store afterwards.

The washing of the sofa covers continues (drying on the airer in the space where boxes used to be). Highlight of the day was being able to open my living room windows, because I can reach them now!
