I am about to do a blitz on my house and find one bag of stuff to declutter. I might do this over the next few days until the cleaner turns up. I'm hoping having a cleaner will keep me more accountable about any clutter I have in the house as it much easier to clean clear surfaces.
I picked up my jewellery yesterday. I can't wear my engagement ring anymore so I had it made into a necklace. It turned out nicely and at least I can use it now.
It is such lovely weather today.😎

Sofa cover washing continues. One is now completely washed, dried, and put back on. The other sofa has all the cushion covers washed and dried, but still needs the actual sofa cover washed.
It smells lush!
I was out most of today though and I can't put the temperamental washing machine on unless I'm here for the whole cycle so I'll finish it tomorrow.

Ooh, I've been ignoring my OATs so long i missed the start of a shiny new thread! 😃
I do now have an OAT to report - sorted out a new 2 year fix for our LPG supply 😊 More expensive than the last 2 years of course, but not ridiculously so, and cheaper than the renewal price (although with the same company). All good.
I've started mulching the veg patch, although I'm barrowing mulched hay from the other side of a field so it's hard going 😂 I reckon it'll take 32 wheelbarrows to cover it - 5 down, 27 to go 😬 Getting it all done in March would be good. It's taking me about 15-20 mins for each one, so about 7-8 hours (although I need a rest after each one so it's more likely to be a couple a day than getting it all done in a weekend 😂)

I'm on a roll with my OATs, but seem to have scared you all away! 😂
Finally got round to sorting the slow-draining bathroom sink last night. A disgusting job, but the plumbing is nice and shiny now, and I used it as an opportunity to sort out the under sink cupboard, which was an appalling mess.
Today I've cleaned my work lanyard - it took me forever to realise why my hands would be sometimes covered in ink after a meeting when my pen hadn't leaked - finally realised something had leaked onto the lanyard. Realised that several weeks ago but didn't do anything about it. Now I have! 😃

I forgot to make up another donation bag yesterday as we had a minor household matter to deal with. I will make two bags up when I get home from lunch today as the cleaner is due tomorrow.
I have a few admin things to do tomorrow and my dog has a routine vet appointment.
Someone online gave me a link to doing Qigong at home on YouTube so I have been doing that the past few mornings and I do feel a lot less stiff. I'm going to carry on doing that for 30 days or maybe more.
I have two classes this week, but I might book another class for the weekend as my back is feeling much better now.😍

I am going out later. I WILL take a bag to the clothes recycling. I have moved bag into the car.

Finally tried to tackle the online I.D. passport pic and selfie to be able to log in to a savings account, after it was taken over by another company. Have been putting it off as I deeply resent sharing my face, especially with a firm I didn't even sign up with. Did either aspect work? Did they heck. Terse email sent to customer services.

My activation code hasn't arrived so I guess I'm getting fined tomorrow.
How can a handmade dog collar that I ordered to be made Saturday afternoon arrive today, but a piece of paper I asked for 10 days ago not? Grrrr!

Grrr indeed. Hope it turns up today. I've finally finished reading back this whole thread and I did cheer when those boxes finally left your house! 😃⭐🎂
Genuinely inspired by reading about all of you tackling your OATS. There are just so darn many of them, aren't there??
I'm not writing a big list of specific tasks for spring, but my overall aims are making a start on the next level of House stuff (mostly decluttering at first, building up to bigger DIY stuff), and getting the veg patch up and running.
I'd love to scythe the hay field, or at least some of it, before it starts properly growing again. I didn't do any of it last summer and it'll be a right old mess if another season of grass grows through all the clumps 😬 Even doing some of it will make my August job slightly easier!
In the meantime, I tackled another bathroom drawer and got rid of an assortment of ancient dried up make up and out of date medications etc 😊
I've been doing yoga every morning since the start of December (108 days now!) And it's encouraging me to believe that I can actually stick to doing things regularly. Maybe a daily decluttering habit is on the cards too! 😀
Forgot to report that I finally had my sewing machine mended too 😊 Which means I can finish the quilt I started at a charity sewing day in January - need to get back in touch with the group leader for fleece for the backing.

Shoulder is feeling a bit better so I have finally managed to sort through all of the large plastic containers for craft group. My house actually has more in it at the moment as I bought some home to sort.) Still have craft cupboard to do but my head feels a bit clearer now and I know what we have in stock. It has also given me some ideas for crafting days and means that I don't have to buy as much as I thought. Also managed to get rid of a bag of fabric to a charity shop, a bag of stuff to a local play group and 2 bags of packaging and bits that are broken or no good to anyone . 2 plastic boxes of hand knitted products, some table covers, hamper baskets and props were put in the loft until the Christmas fair.
So much more room in the storeroom for other groups stuff now.
