I am off out to a local event today. I'm not sure what the weather is like as it got quite chilly yesterday after my class. I might put a cardigan in my bag although it looks sunny. We are going out to eat afterwards.
I have a long to-do list for next week that I won't think about until Monday!

I didn't go to the pharmacy because I forgot it closes at 12 on a Saturday.
Coops cleaned. Lots of weeding done, mostly pulling up nettles by the roots, very satisfying. I've had a sort through 3 small boxes of music tapes (relatives), pulled out a few I'd like to listen to, and found a local taker for the rest
I have also listed a shirt on vntd. I took it away with me this week thinking that if I didn't wear it I would list it as I've had it for about 2 years and never worn it.

Great vinted thinking @Rhyddid2026, I need to have a bit of a spring sort out and think honestly about when the last time I wore things was. No point missing the relevant selling season when quids can be made!
Love that you are able to play tapes too. I keep getting lower but decent offers for a tape/CD/radio/bluetooth boombox I inherited and listed but I keep refusing them... I think I just don't want to give up on old formats, especially as we have quite a few CDs and laptops aren't even being sold with CD/DVD capability anymore

I have my old tape and CD player that I got for Christmas in 2000 in my conservatory Pip. It still just about works.
I still have no idea what I'm doing with the tax stuff. I tasked myself with just logging on this evening and facing it, to make it easier to face fully tomorrow. I logged on and it asked for £36 corporation tax so I've paid it even though I haven't finished whatever I was doing on Wednesday. I was expecting to pay a lot more than that, so not sure what's going on.
I have had an email saying they'd let me know if what I had submitted so far was accepted within 2 working days, so that should have been Friday. That email also says fines are automatically applied but there was no sign of that yet. I just want this all done now so I can close the business and close the bank account. I'll have a better look tomorrow afternoon.

Oh @Rhyddid2026 what a trial this all is for you! Hope it becomes clearer very soon 😬
Proper OAT to report here. I've done various OATs today - wiped the living room windowsills, put away a big pile of clothes, thrown away a broken bottle that's been sat near the back door for weeks...
But I've also done the big one - I've taken the Christmas tree down 😬😂😂 Not quite 3 months after Christmas, but not far off 😬😂
It's not in the loft yet, but it's all wrapped up in bags waiting for a second pair of hands 😂
Off out for lunch now to celebrate 😂

Thanks @Cheery_Daff and everyone else that has cheered me on over the last few months. I'm starting to see how once I've got these massive old OATs out of the way there will be so much more space for me to tackle smaller more enjoyable OATs, and OATs for myself not others.
All of the sofa covers and cushion covers are now washed, dried, and put back on.
This weekend I have filled a big builders trug/flexi tub and a bucket with weeds from the garden, and I've filled another bucket with rubbish from the garden. It's felt great to spend a few hours here and there and see so much progress! When I say weeds they were mostly nettles pulled up by the roots and flowers that the previous owner planted that spread like weeds. I can't think what they're called right now but they spread through little bulb/corm type things. I don't want to put them in my compost so I'm soaking them in water til they break down.
Someone has just collected three boxes of music tapes (relatives) so that's another few small boxes out of my house. The shirt I put on vntd yesterday sold today, so I need to get that packed and posted.
I've used up lots of food today, I had dipped egg (2, freshly laid this morning) for brunch with baguette slices from the freezer cut into soldiers, and I've had a sunday roast for tea using Christmas cheap potatoes (yes, still a few left) and christmas cheap carrots that I'd chopped and blanched and frozen, with homemade yorkies from the freezer.
Quite a satisfying weekend!

My OAT today was playing badminton with Mr PIP in the park, can't really count it as an OAT as its weather dependent, but today the weather was right and I really did not want to do anything but I said sod it let's go, and a nice bit of gentle free exercise was had
