the first two photos are of stems just lying in the garden after some cut the garden down
the others are off root pulled down the ground.
there are these bulb type purple buds coming out of the roots.
the stems found have a purple / pinks specks on them and it’s deep rooted and spread around the garden every where0 -
A more specific subject line will help.

it’s hard to tell from the photos, but the Japanese knotweed in the garden next to me doesn’t come up like that.
is there a picture with any leaves on?
Obviously, if you’re not sure of the best thing to do is get a specialist survey. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

so the garden has just been levelled and all the plants and brambles cut back.
the first photos or stems found were just left by the gardener and lose after being cut. It only just been cut down so nothing coming thought yet.
it is in a high risk area we have just found out and also there are purple / pink speckles on the stems, the roots pulled out have these bulb type asparagus looking purple shoots, if you zoom in on the last photo you can see one of the asparagus looking purple shoots/ bulbsThank you for all help everyone

I think to be sure you probably do need to wait until leaves appear and/or get a specialist survey.
