Lloyds has a separate banking licence to Halifax/Bank of Scotland.

No, Halifax & BoS share a licence, Lloyds is separate.

Yes, you're right. I've amended my incorrect post now.

Great, thank you for this. Out of curiosity, did they send you a new card after every change? 🙄
It looks like Internet Banking update is somewhat slow for me…

Yep, twice. Got a new card when I downgraded from Premier to CL, and then another one is apparently on it's way to me now that I've re-upgraded back to Premier

This £500 premier switch offer is crazy. I'm planning to switch four accounts. Shame about debt repayments not being included in the £200 spend. I pay off my credit card debt with my debit card to meet Nationwide fairer share requirements. I'm thinking of purchasing gift cards or pay my utility bills to meet the £200 spend requirement. My car insurance is due for renewal soon too so I'll be using the debit card to fulfil the £200 spend requirement. My experiences with Lloyds switching have been positive and they are reliable paying the incentives once the requirements are met.

I'm planning to switch four accounts.
Interested to hear how you might gain four switch bonuses - different individual accounts?

Can you open the account now and start the switch in April or do you need to start the switch straight away?
I'm not in a position to switch at the moment but thinking it may be best to get the account opened now in case they pull the offer early

Nothing in the terms to say the switch needs to start right away, just that it starts by 30 Apr 2026. You need to meet the debit card spend within 35 days of account opening though (not from the switch date).

yes switching four different family member accounts. Four dummy accounts with 3 onepoundd’s are set up.
