Lloyds switch for up to £500, 24 February to 30 April 2026

That’s a lot of DD admin. Have you looked at BonusDebits?

Yeah it is a lot DD admin if you’re not organised/prepared but I’ve been switching since 2023 and I feel it is worth it for the time/effort I put into each switch. Any spending to meet the switch requirements e.g 5 transactions I’ve paid for 5 items (e.g baby wipes) separately using self check out that I needed to purchase anyway. I’ve been using onepoundd for years and recently found out you can set DD’s for less than £1 but I’m happy with onepoundd. Chase recently rejected 3 separate switches for Lloyds £250 offer so I’ve made dummy accounts with the main banks to apply for the Lloyds £500 offer.

Ah I just meant you’d only need to fill in one form per account rather than setting up each DD separately - but as long as it works for you, that’s what matters!
Chase has certainly started clamping down. I’ve seen a few people say they’ve received emails from them now. First time hearing that they’re actively blocking them now though.
I’m trialling Starling’s payment link to make card payments to myself at the moment for the TSB switch. I’d be interested to hear if that’s worked for anyone else?

This is new, Chase are actually disallowing a CASS switch of one of their CAs to another bank?
On what grounds?
Sure, they can warn or impose restrictions/debanking on any customer they like AFTER THE FACT but to actively stop a switch would seem to be against the rules of the scheme?

I'd be interested to hear that too. I know Chase didn't support CASS switching from a sole account to a joint account elsewhere, but perhaps this is something different.

I already have a Club Lloyds account but have never received a switch bonus with Lloyds.
When I went to apply for a new Premier account there was no option for one - only Platinum, Silver and Classic.
Very confusing.0 -
I don't think you can have Premier and Club Lloyds at the same time.
1 -
Correct. Lloyds treats Premier and Club Lloyds very similarly and you can only have one of either of them. If you want to open a new Premier account for the switch offer, then you need to downgrade or close your CL account first.

Do I lose my regular saver if I downgrade from Club Lloyds?

I don’t think you do. I didn’t lose mine.
