Lloyds switch for up to £500, 24 February to 30 April 2026

Think that'll be fine, my spend was on a Lloyd's CC, if they thought that category was a cash txn then I'd be paying interest (which I'm not).

OK. So after an hour on the phone with Lloyds and Santander (my old bank) this afternoon here is the issue:
"Something internal" caused Lloyds to cancel "many" bank switches to them on the 20th of April. However at any point from 00:01 on that day (20th), the account is considered to be in Lloyds juristiction and so the old bank can then wipe their hands and clear their records of any Direct Debits, Standing Orders and Payee Infomation.
Unfortunately, Lloyds attempted to cancel these switches 13 hours into their watch when these payments had already been transferred, so when Lloyds re-requested all this info from the outgoing bank again on their second switch attempt, the outgoing bank(s) correctly told them that their account had no DD'd, SO's or Payees on file with them.
What Lloyds should have done, was apply the details recieved the first time they requested it to the second switch… but they didn't.
Apparently anyone who switched to Lloyds on the 10th of April with a completion date of the 20th of April (from any bank) may be affected by this, so please check. I was told I could be the tip of the iceberg and there may be many people affected where their bills, standing orders and people will be going unpaid over the next few weeks!
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.5 -
looks like Lloyds are paying out. Switched 30th March and £500 in today 09/05. Looking at another popular forum others who switched before and after also received today.

My switch completed 45 days ago on March 25th so I messaged them this morning and was told to wait until Monday due to the weekend.
A few hours later the money has arrived in my account dated Monday.

Can see the offer states incentive will be paid between 45 & 90 days from switch, but has anyone received it before this time?
