I would suggest that it should be in pdf format, attached to an email, and sent to the court and lawyers ( or claimant if no lawyers wereinvolved. ) when finalised

However, I cannot tell what is the original strike out defence ( in red ink. ) or what the new additions are ( in red ink. )

"can I just put it in a n email or does it have to be pdf ?"

Obviously a court defence has to be a signed & dated PDF - it's a formal document.

Nothing we can say can assist or change it now, so I hope it covered everything and was properly signed & dated under a statement of truth. Did you add that at the bottom and put the claim number, the two parties & the court identifying headers at the top? Your version posted here didn't show that.

And hope you didn't email it to the CNBC.

It had to be 'filed and served' meaning filed to your local court who ordered it, and also cc'd to the Claimant's legal team.

I haven't read it because you didn't wait long enough for comments!

I sent it to the claimant and claimresponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

    DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

yikes, I didn’t find any email addresses for the local county court.

    Thank goodness I guessed.

You can't send it there! Your file isn't in Northampton and the CNBC isn't even a Court. It was only a doorway admin centre months ago.

That was obviously an order from your local court judge at a court. You merely had to google it and look at 'court finder' to see where to email it to.

Did you add the headers & footer/signature and date under a statement of truth? If not, start again and this time wait for comments.

I did say COURT in my earlier reply ( not CNBC. ) that court is listed on the court order requiring the new POC, and allowed you the right of reply

Stop rushing, start over, as mentioned above

OK. Looks like that's the right email.

What did you put in the subject line?

I think I would add 'URGENT' but that's all good, as long as it goes to Manchester court.
