they sent this other form as an attachment too “N9B
Defence and Counterclaim
(specified amount)”
The last thing I received from the court was that it was being transferred to a local court, haven’t received anything after that. There’s also the AOS therein, but from last time I just do it on the MCOL website so I’ll proceed to do that, and request the 28 day extension.

As we have already told you, you should have received the same court order that DCB Legal received, with deadlines for both sides, so you need to see a copy ASAP, or at least know what you should be doing and your deadline to respond
Contact your local civil court ASAP

thanks the court says they sent out the order on the 5th August… I didn’t receive this.
I’m worried I’m beyond the 28 day deadline now…

In the meantime, get a copy of your original defence in WORD or similar
Strike out ( not delete ) anything that you want to remove, in red ink, and add anything new in red ink too, so changes are done in red ink, but no deleting anything from the original submission
You are adapting your original defence due to their recently amended POC , as required by the missing court order

A judge making them elect pofa rather than allowing it as an alternative 😎
I'm a random person on the internet. I hold no legal qualifications and nothing I say is advice.

They usually give the defendant the right to amend the defence, but if its not there then you will need to work on a good WS, should it be needed in the future

does that mean I don’t have to reply to their POCs? And what they sent in the first email?
