Amazon debit card unknown transaction
My partner had a £20 debit transaction from Amazon a week ago.
I have Amazon prime and use subscribe and save service and we have deliveries for 2/2/26.
On my Amazon account there is only a credit card for her as her old debit card expired 18 months ago. The £20 transaction is for her current card.
There is no order for £20 on my account and today about an hour ago Amazon package arrived worth a mattress protector inside.
She done a fraud notification for the Amazon charge on Wednesday and she is waiting for the outcome.
Is this a new type of fraud or is this an error and has anybody got any advice on what to do about this issue please

Is this with the bank or Amazon?
My understanding is that if a retailer tries to charge a transaction to an expired card, the details of the replacement card will be provided to them to use instead, which is why replacing a card doesn't in itself prevent further charges, so that's likely to be the answer if you're querying how a charge came to be made on a card that had expired.
In terms of why Amazon were seeking to charge in the first place, it could be fraud or an error, but if it doesn't show on your account then (assuming she doesn't have a separate account herself) they're probably not going to be willing to help. Can you tell if the mattress protector is sold at £20?

So to clarify you have a charged on your card for £20.
The charged item has been delivered to your address.
Theres no order on your account for the item you recieved.
The charge was on a new card, from the same account as the expired card.
Is that summary correct?

Thanks.
Lloyds fraud notification and her card was stopped and waiting for a new one.
The old card expired 18 months ago and was not updated on Amazon.
Not sure how to check the price as the protector is inside a grey sealed bag with a label with details and barcode on it.
I should of mentioned earlier that we did buy a incontinence bed protector and mattress protector 1st week of January and was delivered next day but this was not part of the order and how it got delivered without any Amazon tracking notification and delivered by an Amazon van is a mystery.
I can't send it back as there is no order number on my Account.

Yes correct

Can you check that order from January and see if its a marketplace seller as opposed to an Amazon seller, which may have been fulfilled outside of Amazon? I wonder if its a duplicate order for example.

Check your/partners orders & see if there are any hidden purchases.
Is the purchase showing in their bank account?

Marketplace order.
The price was £23.99 .

I have looked at the item on Amazon and the the price was 23.99 and today it has dropped to £20.39 so not sure where the £20 comes into it.
As I said earlier I don't know what is inside the package so I can't see if it's the same as I got delivered earlier last month.
I don't want to open if I have to send it back to someone.

Sure someone has not ordered a £20 Amazon Voucher?

Dont think so but that would not explain the Amazon package that arrived today would it?
Is there a way of getting any info on the transaction from the debit card transaction off the Lloyds app?
