Closed mine months ago as it was no longer worth keeping open. But if it was still open, I'd close it today - I think you should get the money tomorrow
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

My Cambridge BS Extra Reward RS (6% fixed, £300 pcm, £3600 balance after 12 months) matured today. I had instructed rollover of £300 to new ERRS (same rate, fixed) with balance to my nominated account. New account has the same number.
All done overnight. Funds (£3300 plus interest of £132.44) already in my nominated account.
The only issue is that the new account won't pay interest until tax year 2027/28 and not possible to close the account early before end of 2026/27. Not sure if I will continue to fund this.
Edited to add: I provided maturity instructions before Wednesday's Budget was revealed

Furness BS 160th Anniversary RS
Mine matures on 20th Nov (launched Jan 2026, 10 month account)
Just had an email to say maturity pack will be issued 2 weeks in advance of MD (so not long away). No indication of what the maturity options will be, but instructions can be given online (if you have online access, I don't)

Cambridge 6% Extra Reward RS
You can close it early but it comes with a 90 day interest penalty:
"Withdrawals aren’t permitted during the fixed rate term. Closure is allowed subject to a 90 day interest penalty fee. This will be taken from your capital balance if you haven’t built up enough interest at the time of closure."

You're a couple of days ahead of me.
I like the way the Cambridge tends to keep the same account number each year.
I managed to get £3.6k in mine and the Maturity manager suggests only £117 interest
