What about the earlier ones that I showed? They were not deleted posts. I have to go back and refresh the page to see most posts through notifications.

I'm not sure if this is related, but there is a current bug I have reported where in certain circumstances if a post in a thread is deleted, it can somehow return to the notifications as a representation of other notifications.
For example, in the Newbies thread, I was regularly getting a notification 'There are 43 new comments on…' - and I knew form the avatar that it was trying to link to a deleted spam post. For any link that contains 'activity', I'm not sure what you are clicking to see that. Can you give a detailed step-by-step of what you are doing and where?

Any ideas what is going on with the text editor this evening? It is having really weird behaviour across multiple devices (Android Phone and Tablet, W11 desktop and laptop, all running the most up tondate version of Chrome and Edge as well on W11). The text box is not properly identifying itself to the browser, upon posting random letters or words that are in the text box are disappearing, using any form of autocomplete on words results in double entry and it is completely refusing to allow certain letter combinations to be posted, if I try to post K Y C without the spaces it freaks out and either refuses to post the comment or deletes those letters from the post.

It seems to be behaving itself for me. Most of this post was written using autocomplete, including KYC.
Edit: testing another sentence on desktop, above written on Android phone.

it’s like I’ve already said.
I click on my notifications bell. If it tells me there’s a new comment on the thread, I click on that. I get the permission message which goes with this type of web linkif I go back and refresh and then click on the bell and the link again it shows me the post instead of the deny permission message.

So .. to make it clear the first time your notifications have the wrong link(s), but after a refresh they then have the right link(s)?
I've not personally experienced this, so maybe there's a foible with your forum profile configuration in the database? 🤷♀️

I also see a "read and redirect" link the first time, and a normal "comment" link after clicking for the first time. The only difference is that for me the "read and redirect" links are working. So could be a profile issue as you suggest.

I'll try to remember to check the next time I get a notification … right now (after clicking the notification, even though the bell icon still shows an unread notification) the link shows the expected #Comment style link. 🤷♀️

My profile is the same as it has always been. Using the same browser on the same phone that I’ve used for the last few years.
Absolutely no idea what about my profile might be different or who has changed it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
