Transfer data to nano sim

My very old clamshell phone (can't cope with a smart one) has expired. The up to date replacement uses a nano sim card.

Youtube shows how to cut the old one down but I don't want to risk losing everything if I get it wrong.

What other ways can I do this?

Can you ask your carrier for a nano SIM?

Who is your mobile service provider? You should be able to ask them for a replacement SIM.

They should ask you lots of questions to make sure you really are the owner of your phone number.

Have you stored phone numbers on the SIM? You need to copy them off, manually if there are not too many.

Go to an independent phone shop that sells second hand phones and ask if they can cut your existing one down successfully.
Should only cost a tenner or donation to the charity box.

My local one cut mine down when I went in for a new phone, when that had a problem they cut a bit of card to enlarge it.
