Recommendations for a Ryanair-sized Underseat Backpack

Please?

Preferably one that can be expanded slightly to the more generous Easyjet size.

Cabin max have a pretty decent affordable range.  Not so sure about expandable, but you could get two or more of them compared to the price of some of the other brands.

I understand Ryanair have increased their bag size to 40cm x 30cm x 20cm. Lots of options on Amazon ranging from £10 - £30, including a few expandable options.

I bought a bag from Amazon some years ago for Ryanair's older (and smaller) size and never had any trouble with it when bag sizes were checked at the airport terminal. If it fits Ryanair, its more than likely going to fit most of the other airlines.

Today's Rip Off Britain on BBC1 was dealing with carry-on bags this morning, but I don't recall any particular recommendations. Just 'be careful, everyone keeps changing the rules ... and even some which SHOULD fit 'the sizer', actually don't quite. Especially if it's fabric and you've overstuffed it.'

I purchased one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CRTW64WY?th=1&psc=1 £13 currently.
I actually like it far more than the price point would suggest I should like it.
It is a very well-designed bag.

My wife purchased one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BKJWY1HB?th=1 Rather more pricey at £18 currently.
She likes it but it is not my style.

Bought this a few years ago https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C6SM19ZN?th=1 Lossga Designed for Ryanair Cabin Bags 40x20x25 from Amazon. It's been good but I don't love the top handle for carrying, too narrow and dig in with any weight, a standard single top handle would be better. There are a lot of similar options that will likely be presented.

Later bought this going on EasyJet https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D7TQB8VS?th=1 ZHXX 45x36x20. Haven't used on RA so don't know how much it would be scrutinised - but it's soft sided so it should compress into the RA bag checker if you don't overfill

I've got one of the easyjet ones from Amazon similar to what's already been linked.
Loads of pockets, and surprisingly roomy to pack a good few days clothes in
