Hi All,

I've now received a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal along with a Final Notice of Intended Legal Action.

Is there any action that I should take considering this letter. I recall seeing something about sending them a email warning them that I will contest this is court and that I will not fall for these bullying tatics. Is this still revelant and if so is there a standard reply/template to use to respond to this.

Its definitely one option, but its your choice to make ( the BEST option is a landowner cancellation. )

These days the ignore option can lead to a court claim, so be aware of it and plan accordingly

Landowner 'complaint template' - that's a very silly idea - so no. Think about how ineffective that would be!

But if you want access to hundreds of successful complaints to retail parks examples - yes - as you saw already when you read about 'Plan A' NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.

Proposed legal proceedings

I refer to your letter of claim.

I confirm that my address for service for the time being is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:

You should revert to your client because the 'propensity to pay' score in my case is zero, so any claim is hopeless and a waste of the court fee (whether 'fronted' by your firm or not). Move on to weaker victims.

The alleged 'debt' is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

Yes of course that's the LBC response (we didn't need to check that) but more importantly, we thought you were going to send a site landowner (property company that runs the place) complaint to try to kill it?

Sorry, Correct its the Letter before Claim.

I did Ring Tesco's customer services some time ago, which never helped. They just refered me back to Horizon Parking. I dont know I spend hundreds of poounds a month at Tescos on groceries and Fuel and this is how they treat their customers.

See above; have you told them you will be an ex-customer if they don't sort it for you. No one should expect a surcharge of £100 (£170) just for shopping.
