Thank you kindly for the well wishes 😊. Little one is having a lovely birthday and has been especially good at school today. I’m making a picky bits dinner upon request and have some mini cupcakes to put in the shape of a 6 - the special cake is being saved for the party.

Work was relentless today but we got through it. Is it too early to be wishing for the weekend?!

I thought so ha! Although makes for a pretty miserable mid-week if already feeling a bit frazzled. We have staffing issues today so going to be full on I think. I’m trying to stay positive as it makes such a difference but I’m not really feeling it 🙈.

After today, I have two days of conference style training so have a lot to pack in to get through all that needs doing before the end of the week.

That was a loooong day. But it was pretty productive and I ticked lots off my list.

Party preparations are almost ready we just need to do the big food shop to finish off. I will be so relieved when it’s over. I love birthday gatherings usually but trying to be sociable with strangers is definitely not my bag. Shall need to put my work smile on and get on with it. I think littlest is going to be in his element though. He lost his first tooth today, and so the super cute era comes to an end 😂 feels very symbolic.

Worked too much today to spend any money, but I’ve sold an item on Vinted so will need to remember to package and post that tomorrow. I’m likely to forget with how tired I am tonight so I’m hoping this diary entry nudges my memory.

I’ve had my payslip through and my AVCs that were due to start have not been taken out. I’ll need to find the email and attempt to get it sorted for next month. In other news, £13 worth of M&S rewards went onto my account today and we are looking forward to a free sweet treat from Lidl with our thermos cups tomorrow - car date 😂.
