Thank you both. We have slept! All night! I don’t expect LM will feel well today but she desperately needed that sleep. Have been to check on her and the sickness thankfully seems to have worn off. She said she’d love an ice lolly for her sore throat so I’ve snuck one into her without her brothers noticing 😂. Poorly privileges.
I had some bizarre dreams last night: I was moving temporarily in with my mum and dad as they had an old spare room with an en-suite. I thought it would be fine short term while I saved money for a house, but the front door was seriously hanging off my side of the house. I seemed to still be with Mr D in my dream and the children kept appearing at times. I was still working in the same profession as colleagues kept appearing too 🙈 So strange as my dad died almost 14 years ago and when I did live with my parents, it was a very tight squeeze with 5 of us in a small house. I’m sure it all links back to thoughts or experiences over the day but weird nonetheless.
No great plans for this weekend. We were invited to a birthday party this afternoon but we can’t go to that now. I’ll just be at home today and hopefully taking littlest to see Mum tomorrow as she’d like to give him his birthday presents.PBs £2550 (including £1k EF & £500 Christmas fund)

glad that at least the sickness has passed and today can be used for recuperation. A medicinal ice lolly sounds like a good step towards felling a bit better.

We’ve managed to have a productive but relaxed home day today. Mr D and littlest have been digging (Mr D the patio slabs so they can be relaid where we’d prefer them, and littlest the mud underneath said slabs 😂), while I’ve done a few listings of the items we brought home from the boot sale that we deemed too good to leave behind. I’ve already had interest in a couple of items and the small amounts will add up quickly if I can get a few of them shifting.
Little Miss is resting up but looks tonnes better and has eaten little and often today. That is such a relief as she looked truly dreadful this time yesterday.
Fingers crossed for some small sales but either way the fresh air has done us all some good. I’m back in and looking forward to settling with my book for an hour.PBs £2550 (including £1k EF & £500 Christmas fund)

Another Monday done. It was okay but busy at work and didn’t get so much as a minute without someone needing something. In the end I had to eat my lunch during a meeting as I felt so lightheaded and it was way past my lunch time.
Littlest is close to combustion over his birthday tomorrow. Thank the heavens it’s here because I’m not sure how much more Mr D or I can take of his flying around like a whirlwind 🙈. I really love celebrating the children’s birthdays though and am looking forward to seeing his face when he wakes up in the morning and his special day is finally here.
I’ve sold a few small items from the boot sale boxes, with a couple waiting to be collected. I still enjoy the thrill of decluttering and seeing items going off to a new home. The extra pounds are appreciated too, but are mostly small amounts.I’m halfway through the fifth ACOTAR book and am really enjoying this one. It follows a different ‘main’ character so is reading differently to the others but still with the same page-turning style.
Wishing everyone a good Tuesday tomorrow! I’m off to set up for the birthday boy 😊.PBs £2550 (including £1k EF & £500 Christmas fund)
