I setup a paypal DD for my donor account so I can do the switch to Lloyds. I spent some money with paypal, how long until it gets debited from the donor via direct debit?0

Two I set up last week took 7 working days.liger said:I setup a paypal DD for my donor account so I can do the switch to Lloyds. I spent some money with paypal, how long until it gets debited from the donor via direct debit?0 -
Although our 2 accounts are both downgraded to classic, my husband still can't select Club Lloyds in order to open a new account and make the switch. Time to give up? Are the phone services any good? cos the webchat is useless. Even when you get to a human assistant they don't seem to understand the question, no matter how I put it!0

Did you sort out the issue with your husband's Lloyds app accessing your (online) account?julie777 said:Although our 2 accounts are both downgraded to classic, my husband still can't select Club Lloyds in order to open a new account and make the switch. What accounts are you now holding, sole, joint, all Classic?
Have one or both of you attempted to open a new sole Club Lloyds?0 -
I'm about to do the Lloyds switch and they have future switch completion dates into February. If I choose a date like 9th February would I still qualify for incentive? I'm assuming it's the date you sign up for the switch has to be before 3rd of February and not the completion date. The date I would start the switch would technically be today?0

The answer is "probably..."0 -
SMS received just over a week after applying to switch (10 working days ahead of completion): "Your switch will start in 3 working days. Please contact 03456 025 293 if you have any questions. From the Lloyds Bank Switching Team".liger said:I'm about to do the Lloyds switch and they have future switch completion dates into February. If the completion date is 9th Feb the answer is yes. As the date of the 3rd is (as stated in the T&C) for the start of the switch, not the completion. Switches take 7 working days. So a completion date of 9th Feb is definitely a switch start before the 3rd.liger said:I'm about to do the Lloyds switch and they have future switch completion dates into February. There were conflicting comments a few days ago over whether 'start by 3rd' means start of the switch process (start of the 7 day actual CASS switch process) or start of the application to Lloyds for a switch (with the actual 7 days of the CASS switch process possibly beginning later than the 3rd).flaneurs_lobster said:

That debate is not relevant if your completion date is the 9th, as your 7 day CASS switch, and your application for your 7 day CASS switch, will both be before the 3rd.

The terms state "Start your switch from your old bank account using the ‘Current Account Switch Service’ by the 03 February 2026"I take it to mean the switch has to have started by that date, otherwise they would have stated request your switch by the given date.2
