It wasn't as cold first thing today but has got colder as they day has gone on! Got all my ironing done this morning so that's all caught up and been sorting out for listing , it's just a merry go round 🤣
No i like lunch 12-12.30 but we don't have breakfast and then tea 5-5.30 normally.
I had egg wraps with sausage and mushroom in, 2 syns, tomato and watermelon.
We have roast pork, yorkies 2 syns, cauli cheese 3 syns, tonnes of veg for tea.
I might make doughnuts later , fibre choice, depends if i want that or fruit and ice cream, oh decisions 🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
We seem to make a habit of cross posting @Longwalker.
Well done to all who had losses yesterday, good to get back to eating better after festive foods. 👍
Good to see you posting @caronc. Few of us follow SW to the letter and I don't think anyone on here has the SW ready meals. I like the large brown baps in Aldi as a HEX choice or the oat topped wholemeal rolls in Sainsburys.
I got to Morrison's last night for the fishcakes and also picked up the 19p celery. 👍 Glad I had something cheap as fishcakes have increased massively in price. Seems not long ago they were 2 packs for £5, now they're about £3.75 for one packet. ☹️
Good luck with WI tomorrow @Coxy11.
It's been drizzling rain on and off here since midday @joedenise. I take it those Lidl sausages were a fail. 🤣
I had 2 mints last night, similar to after 8s. I'm counting 6 swips but well on track as driving last night so no alcohol.
I'd really miss having breakfast @bubbs. We have something cooked nearly every day. That's about 7.30am, lunch is just before 1pm. From choice, we have dinner about 7.30pm but on the evenings I'm out dancing we have to eat about 6pm and then I'm often hungry later.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- chicken (P), stir fried veg (S)
D- chicken casserole (P, F, S), cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Swips - cornflour 1, weekend wine 😁

It's amazing how we all get used to our meals at a particular time isn't it? I'm like you @maman I need my breakfast, not always cooked but probably most days. We do have Weetabix or porridge occasionally. I actually lie to have some protein if possible first thing to help keep me fuller for longer as we usually have a lighter lunch.
I'm trying not to snack too much and to a certainly extent that's working, although I did end up with a small Magnum knock off this afternoon.
Definitely back to the butchers this week for sausages!0 -
Maman, fry up at 7.30! These days unless i am going Company shop i am not up at that time 🤣🤣 That's why i always have pudding but later, we have always eaten early because of getting up early we was ready for it, also i work from 7 .
Roast pork, gap was for cauli cheese 3 syns, yorkies 2 syns, but i only ate 1
Lunch was 2 syns fr the heck sausages, sausage and mushroom egg wraps, tomato and watermelon

I couldn't eat breakfast if I was paid.I thought about it the other day, and Ive been getting up at 5 am since I was 13 - paper round before school.Back then Id be able to hang on till 10 am tea break. Then when I started work I needed to get the 7am bus at the latest , so again no breakfast , and again held on till the 10am tea break
So now I work 5:30am till !0 am, I can easily hold on till 1:30 before I feel I really do have to eatBut then what happens for me is the thoughts, "only had a yoghurt and fruit and a small dinner all day, I can have a chocolate or two" And once the second chocolate in inhaled - that's it, Ive the munchies for the night . Yesterday was such a day and I ate more calories in one day then I would eat in a week
I did actually get a 5k in this morning. I so needed it . The weather has been so bad this year that Im letting DH do the dog walks but my hips and knees are really suffering0 -
Good morning all,
My ideal breakfast time is around 8:30/9 now I don’t have a daily commute. And for lunch it’s 1pm. Yesterday’s late lunch saw me not eating again afterwards, and I stuck to water and herbal tea.WI for me this morning saw a 1.5lb loss which is great. Would’ve loved more but that is a good start.I’m in the office today where no one seems to eat, so I’ll take some good things to graze on.B - satsuma, banana, toasted protein bagel thin, scraping of light Philly - S, free, HEB, 1/2 HEA
L - apple, 10 almonds - S, 4
D - DS2 is cooking a chicken pasta dish with cream and cream cheese. As I have a yoga class booked I will need to eat earlier so I’ll have LO pasta Jon from Saturday at around 5pm - 5 plus 1/2 HEA
HEA - milk
Syns - 9
A bit heavy on syns/swips today but that’s okay. I need to up my body magic this week and have an allotment session planned for tomorrow morning, plus yoga tonight and Sunday morning.Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2026 founding member 😊 Read 26 books in 2026 1/26 Currently reading The Trial by Rob Rinder0 -
Morning all, not quite as cold this morning - forecast says it's 8 degrees but still feels cold to me and still quite windy. Really strong winds and rain last night - had an olive tree in a pot blown over and several pots had been blown across the garden. All back where they're supposed to be now. DH is going to repot the olive tree into a bigger pot once it warms up a bit.
It's dry at the moment but more rain forecast for later. Machine load of washing done and tumble dried which has now been folded and put away.
Have made a pan of lentil soup using the stock from cooking the gammon yesterday. It's cooling at the moment and once cooled will bag up and freeze.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
L - fajita pasta - P; S; F; 3
D - LO gammon, chips, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Swips - sweet chilli sauce - 3
Have a good day everyone.

Interesting to see everyone’s meal times. I’ve recently been trialing a 10.30 ish brunch and teatime about 5 ish. But it depends what we have on though, as I have to eat before I head out or else I feel very sickly especially if I’m in a car.
The last couple of mornings have been bubble and squeak using the last of my 5p sprouts and potatoes. This morning was with bacon and dry fried egg on the side. Yesterday was with 2 c@stco@ chipolata sausage- 6 syns.
ive got some hm leek and potato soup to snack on should I get the munchies. Tea will be a hm ready meal from the freezer with rice and probably a biscuit or chocolate this evening. I’m feeling more positive than I have in a while……think it’s because I totally took the pressure off myself over Christmas and New Year 😁 I did feel an absolute mess whilst on the mini break though so I think that’s boosted my motivation too 🤞Well done those who’ve had losses 👏👏January spends - £587.580 -
Afternoon all, today is the first day I’ve not had to run around or organise my time to suit others. I feel in control of what I’m eating for the first time in weeks!Reading meal times with interest too. I usually have breakfast around 8/8.30, lunch about 12.30 then dinner at 6.30 - if DS2 is home then it’s earlier at 5.30/6 as he’s always starving!I had toast HEB with banana for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch (3 syns for salad cream) and it’s steak, chips, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms for dinner. I’ve some f/f Greek yoghurt to use up so may have that for pudding and use a couple of syns for raspberry coulis.0

Well done on your loss @Coxy11!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 That's a great start to being back on plan. Good luck with the yoga, another bit of Body Magic.👍🏼
Good for you getting 5K in @Longwalker. Do you find getting out for a run gives you a bit of escape/time to yourself as well as the obvious exercise.🤔
It's definitely warmer here today if a bit dull and miserable. I still think it's soup weather though @milann and @joedenise. Somehow my freezers are full up again or I'd make some myself.😋
At last, a day to yourself @Jellybaby.👍🏼 Enjoy your steak and chips tonight then relax.🤗
I am feeling a bit slimmer today so hopefully things are moving in the right direction. We're busy on Friday so I'll need to bring my WI forward a day so won't get a full week in.
I did have a tiny biscuit yesterday (petit four sized shortbread) but otherwise all to plan and loads of swips left for the rest of the week.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, ham (P), mushrooms, tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- LO chicken casserole (P,S,F)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), stir fried veg (S)
Swips-00
