I didn’t end up going into the office as other boss has a bad cold so asked me to WFH. Suited me fine. Only ended up doing 2.25 hours but that’s okay as I ended up making myself a laptop cover/pouch this afternoon - I’m very much a beginner but it turned out okay and used some of my stash, so zero cost. Also got two loads of washing done and dried.

Dinner is a change up as DD is going out with a friend after work. I’m at yoga and DH is going over to DS1’s to help with a shower installation. I’ve asked DS2 to cook later in the week and will do SW sticky chicken tonight. DD can take hers for work lunch tomorrow.

Enjoy your steak and chips @Jellybaby x.

OMG. I had one of those mornings where my stomach felt my throat had been slit at work , but I stayed strong and  demolished a pear, banana, and blueberries with yoghurt and and bio & me granola when I got in at 11:30

I started looking for chocolate at 2 ish, obviously still hungry, so I had a Warburton thin, stuffed with cottage cheese and tinned mackerel - sounds disgusting but I actually like the combo

Roast chicken dinner tonight, air fryer roasties . Hopefully it will finally fill me

Got my steps in again today - and I actually enjoyed going.

A paltry 1/2lb loss on the scales. Better off than on but ………
This week I am really going for it on the speed front. Fruit and yog for breakfast, veg soup for lunch with a bovril sandwich (HE) and then for tea, a jacket spud with cheese(HE) tuna, red onion, cucumber, pickled beetroot, jalapeños and shredded iceberg. Was yummy!

Tomorrow will start off the same and end with a Mediterranean chicken and rice bake that has onion, BNS, peppers, courgettes and olives in it (swips) with some crumbled feta (HE) over the top. Prep is all done and in pots in fridge ready to bung together when I get in from work.

@bubbs, that kebab looks so good I might have to try that next week
Meant to say that I tried 2 x Iceland stores. No naan or dauphinois as yet 😢

@bubbs - what recipe did you use for your kebabs?  Is it one that's online?

Gosh 5 hours @bubbs! Let us know what bargains you get at CS tomorrow! Kebab looks amazing xx

Well done on your loss @Matron_Midge - I’m a 0.5lb a week girl usually so expect I’ll be joining you next week 🤞🏻

Just back from yoga - hip and legs is the theme of the month. My legs are very short so it made for much giggling between DSis and I 🤣

I’m going to the community allotment tomorrow - think it’s woodchip path laying that’s needed right now. I don’t mind that and it’s all body magic at the end of the day.

Afternoon all, this morning has just disappeared as I had a couple of appointments and then shopping to do so only got back about an hour ago so by the time I'd cooked lunch, eaten it and sat down it's nearly 1 o'clock.

One of the appointments was the opticians and I'm now £500 lighter!  They better be worth it!

Thanks for the link @bubbs.  I could get it on both my laptop and my iPad but with no volume!  So tried on DH's iPad and it worked fine.  I've got the recipe typed up now.  Just one question though she didn't say what temp the oven should be I'm thinking bout 190 would probably be about right.  What temp did you cook yours on?

Like @Coxy11 said 5 hours at the unit you must have been cold even though it was a bit warmer.  Hopefully Company Shop will come up with some bargains for you today.

Hope you managed to get a bit of the Community Allotment paths done before the rain started @Coxy11.  Sorry forgot to say well done on your loss.

@Matron_Midge  - don't knock a "measly" half off - they all add up.  That's how I lost most of my weight to get to target, pity I can't seem to stay there at the moment but my own fault keep having AI holidays.  Don't usually have big gains when we go away for a month in our motorhome, usually just a couple of pounds.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - toasted sausage and onion sandwich - HEB; S; 3.5
    D - LO gammon, jacket potato, cottage cheese - P; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syn - LF spread 1.5; sausages 2

    Have a good day everyone.

We're rarely satisfied with our losses @Matron_Midge but half a pound is a loss and it's motivated you to try to beat it this week.  Well done! You must be doing something right. 👍🏼

Hope you didn't get soaked at the allotment @Coxy11, it's been tipping it down all day here. I think I preferred cold and sunny.😊

Ouch to the £500 for new glasses @joedenise! I only need mine for distances like driving and each test recently optician says change is marginal so mine have lasted a while.

Hope you've been lucky today @bubbs. It's time I took a trip to the Company Shop but really need to clear some space in freezers first. Just lately I've done really well in Aldi with YS between 30-75%.

I think we're more realistic about SW on this thread @joedenise. Of course you're right that if we didn't go on holiday or eat out then SW would be really easy but RL has a habit of getting in the way! What helps though is that we've cracked getting back on plan in between.

DH is out and won't be back until after I've left  to go dancing this evening so we're doing our own thing for dinner tonight. That would normally be my cue for egg and chips but I had 2 eggs for breakfast so I'm having prawns instead, another things that DH doesn't eat.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA mil for drinks
L- LO chicken casserole, pickled cabbage (P,F,S)
    D- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
    Swips- 1 for LTL mayo

    Afternoon everyone,

Was awake and dozing from 4am today, goodness knows why. I went to the allotment for 9:30am and was first there by about an hour (there’s a dedicated group who go on Tuesday mornings) By the time they turned up I’d done about 8 barrow loads of woodchip and lucky for me, 2 others joined me. It was chucking it down with rain though. We stopped for coffee at 11:30am and the alarm on my phone went off at 11:45am to remind me to head home for a shower and some lunch. Got home and was soaked down to my undies(!) but the hot shower was lush. Had a hair appointment this afternoon and ran a couple of errands so only just sat down.

    Food today:
    B - satsuma, tortilla/omelette - LO roast potato, 25g pork sausage meat stuffing, 2 eggs - S, 3
L - JP, tuna, 1tbsp light mayo, gherkins, pink pickled onions, pickled red cabbage, banana  - 1, P, 2, S, free
D - prawn and chilli linguine - free
    HEA - milk
    HEB - 20 almonds
    Syns - skinny bar 3 plus 6 = 9 total

That’s a lot to spend on spectacles @joedenise but if you’re wearing them everyday it’s worth it. Still stings though!
