Just catching up. We're about to head off to jr parkrun for little miss. Last week was really busy trying to get on top of everything before going on leave. I managed it though!
Yesterday we took the kids out, but today will be a quiet day at home (after parkrun). Little jwil is on yet another set of antibiotics for his foot, I'm contemplating seeing if I can find a private podiatrist that will see children. My friend who is a nurse gave some advice yesterday as well. It's not nice for him, and the GP doesn't seem to be able to give us anything other than antibiotics and telling him to salt water bathe it, which he has been doing.
I gained 1.5lb yesterday which was very annoying. I have had a very sedentary week though which probably doesn't help. I didn't do any exercise last week as I was too focussed on trying to get everything done at work. I hope to improve that this week!

Operation 'make the house look different' has continued today. I went out in the front garden and it looks so much better now. My arm and hand really aches from pulling up ivy which was just everywhere and swamping all the plants. I swept and weeded the pavement and drive too.
That took most of the morning, and I kept going out to admire it this afternoon 😆 At least now I can focus any watering on the plants that need it, including our magnolia which I'm not sure is going to survive. I was traipsing in and out with a watering can earlier, but think it probably needs more.
We're off out bowling with friends tomorrow.
