We're off out in a bit. I've tidied round this morning so this afternoon can do some more sorting depending on what time we get back. A couple of pairs of waterproof trousers identified to go earlier, but I will need to buy a pair for little miss for her residential. Annoyingly the ones we have are just slightly too small to go over a pair of trousers.

Hope you had a good day today. That’s a shame about the waterproof trousers.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪1 -
Does the school do some sort of school related clothing swap for sizes outgrown?

Thank you. It's frustrating about the trousers!
No, they do second hand uniform sales, but I've never seen waterproof trousers in there. I'll see if they want these ones though. She'll have another residential in yr 7 anyway, so I'll try and future proof.

£4 on my PAD to the mortgage today from a lottery win.
We're off out eclipse spotting later, but I don't think we'll be up to much otherwise over the next couple of days whilst it's hot again. I'm very happy to just chill and get stuff done around the house. The kids are quite happy too. Hopefully lots of bare foot time and not being stuck in shoes all the time will help little jwil's toe heal better.
I'm trying to catch up on some admin type stuff today. Working through my emails, updating calendars with school stuff, doing surveys and going through the financials.

A survey cashout to add to my PAD today.
We had a good time seeing the eclipse last night, we went to one of our favourite spots near the coast.
Another quiet day planned today to avoid the worst of the heat.

Another CC payment has come out. I'm going to need to find a little extra to get me into the £6ks!
Another quiet day today. I've been shopping and visited family this morning, and don't think we're up to anything this afternoon.
I did a bit of sorting yesterday, and might carry on later. Otherwise it might just be an afternoon with a book.
