I'd be looking in charity shops rather than online as you can usually try things on; you won't necessarily find much which you like but at least you can see what it actually looks and feels like.

Great news that you need smaller clothes but yes it's blimmin annoying actually having to buy any, especially as every brand just seems to make up sizes.
Good idea to have a proper sort-out of what you already have first. Have a maybe pile too, as e.g. jumpers you think don't fit because you're used to thinking of them in a certain way, might actually turn into lovely oversized pieces- cosy slouchy drapey is very in this winter!
Though obvs if you're not feeling something anymore, get it on v!nted 🥂

Stuff my size doesn't really come up in charity shops.  I need to drop another size or two (or more!) before I'm likely to find something.  It doesn't come up in 'normal' shops either, so I need to buy online for now.

I've only got a couple of cardis and a jumper, and they will see me through the winter.  It's normal tops I need, but I can probably manage if I sort through.  If oversized is in then I'm very trendy  but I don't really want that any more, I hate acres of fabric and all the floofy flouncy stuff that seems to be in at the moment!

I always hate clothes shopping, so tend to wear my stuff to death until it falls apart, so I don't sell clothes normally.  I probably do have some sellable stuff now, so will have to brave it!

We won £30 on the lottery last night, so when that arrives I'll pad it to the mortgage as that is a joint win.  A few more zeros would have been nice, but I'll take that!

We're off out to an event today so that will make a change.  DH's paying so it doesn't break my no frivolous spending :D:D

I've sorted out a couple of birthday cards and will get them posted/delivered.  DH sold another item so that's packed and posted.

I've peeled the potatoes for cottage pie later.
