Back to work today, joy! I didn't really get much time to test out my new work station as I went into the office today. I did rearrange it this morning when I logged on, and feel the new arrangement is much better. I'm getting a keybpard too so I don't have to have my laptop right in front of me. I think I'll probably need to get a proper desk chair too as the chair I use feels lower on this, but that can wait for now and I'll see how I get on.
Little miss was in tears this morning going to school. It breaks my heart. She seemed better this afternoon so hopefully it was just first day back blues. I did speak to her teacher briefly.
Little jwil cooked curry at school today so that was our evening meal sorted. I'm back on plan today.

You are right, it is always the good stuff that breaks!
I'm glad Marian Keyes has a TV adaptation. She is very underrated
I hope the curry was nice

Thank you :) I agree, Marian Keyes is very underrated. I really like her books and it seems a long time coming to get a series from them!
I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but the thing that is really missing for me is the gentle humour throughout the books. It's a shame, but maybe it's hard to put over into the series. In the books, the characters are all lovable despite their faults, but so far it doesn't seem to come across that way.

I had more tears from little miss yesterday. She says she feels like an outsider 😔 I wish I could do something for her.
I had my first day at my workstation yesterday, and apart from a little more fiddling around, love it. We had a little bit of sun yesterday (hurrah!) and it's made me realise I will need a solution for shading the doors when the sun is full on me for a couple of hours. I have voiles up and they are not enough to block it. I don't want to put heavy curtains up, as I like the day light, so just something for that couple of hours a day.
I need to pay the computer etc off the cc before the middle of next week which is when the statement will be due. I don't want to spend my savings, so I have decided I am going to pay it off from my wages, and see if I can live very frugally next month, and only transfer what I absolutely have to from the savings. It will be interesting to see how I manage, and it will probably mean my PADs will be minimal, but it will be amazing if I can do it with limited impact on my savings.
I'm loving the milder, brighter days, it feels like spring is on the way.
