Happy belated birthday 🥂
Work set-up sounds a much needed gift to yourself, and if you've got it in savings then all good, it's not like you go on a computer and desk spending spree on a regular basis!
Bah to the pics but hopefully you'll be able to recover them and/or find enough other ones to suffice.

Thank you 😊 The work set up should make life easier! I don't want to spend my savings though 😂
Thank you. I've so far found a lot of the older ones, but it's the newer ones ironically that might be harder to get back.

Happy Friday! I can't believe half term is over already. I've been up since 5, so have walked the dog and done my Duo. Just about to pop to the supermarket then chill for the day.
I need to update the financials and see what I've spent this week. Even above the computer, monitor and desks it's been a very spendy week.
I haven't been on plan at all this week, so dread what tomorrow will bring. I'm tempted not to go, but that will be the start of a slippery slope so I will go and face up to it! Back on track for next week though.

Ah your new desk set up sounds great :) Sometimes it's worth spending a little to get what you need and make your life that little easier (I did the same with the room I work from at the end of last year and I'd do it all over again, best decision).
Sorry to hear about the photos, hopefully you'll be able to retrieve them.
Re weigh in, you might be surprised as it sounds like you've had a busy week, plus walking the dog. Weighing in will make you accountable and can set the tone for the week ahead - good luck :)

Thank you. It does feel much nicer, and I am almost looking forward to going back to work so I can use it 😂
I'm hoping weigh in won't be too bad. I haven't done too much snacking, but we've eaten out a lot and there hasn't always been healthier options, and where there has been I haven't necessarily chosen them 😁

Life gets in the way. My mantra has always been Good when I can and careful when I can't. You may surprise yourself and at least get a Maintain rather than a gain.
Good luck for tomorrow.

Thank you 😊 That's what I feel like too - I'm trying to change habits permanently, so I'm not going to stress about going off plan now and again.

Dh has built the other computer desk today so that's all in place now. It looks much fresher and is taller as it's on wheels so our sitting position will be better. Despite thinking I'd essentially bought like for like, the shelf configuration is different which means the printer doesn't fit, and some of the other things I stored don't fit. The printer has gone in sideways and the other stuff will be found other homes which is not necessarily a bad thing.
We had a spare printer, but that is even bigger so it will be decluttered. It doesn't take the same ink, and the ink heads are probably clogged as it hasn't been used for many years, so in the event the current one dies, it will probably be easier to get a new one.
A tip run probably features in our weekend to get rid of the old desk and the huge pile of cardboard!
