It's my last today today until after half term 😁 Work has been so full on this week, and I have a lot I want to finish today so it might be a long one. Thankfully an in person meeting has been changed to an online one so that gives me an hour travel time back.
Just a normal PAD for me today. Hopefully I'll catch up on surveys while I'm off. There seem to be loads of decent ones around at the moment, but I haven't had the time to do them. Hopefully some will remain there!
DH sold an item so that has been packed and posted. One of the listings for the kids that I did at the weekend is selling so that's a start.
I discovered the dog had peed on the rug by my work chair this morning by standing in it. That was a delight.
Better crack on. Have a good day everyone!

So glad school is taking it seriously and making actual efforts.
What a start to the day 😂 I hope you've had an excellent one and that was merely the domestic version of it apparently being good luck if a pigeon poos on you

Hi @jwil just catching up after returning from holiday. Well done on your continued weight loss and progress on Duolingo. So pleased to read that Little Miss is doing well at school and that teachers are being proactive about dealing with the situation. It was also lovely to read that your DH gave you the £5 that he won on a scratch card to add to the mortgage op and continues to list items for sale. Always helps if both parties are onboard.
I am now trying hard to summon the motivation needed to begin decorating the living room.

I can't believe how quick the car payment has come down! I was trying to remember when you got it - was it Sept last year? I'm doing the opposite, desperately trying to save up for a new car 😂

I'm still waiting for my luck from the car the other week! I should be a millionnaire from that!
Thank you 😊 Good luck with the living room!
Yes, it was September, I can't believe how quickly it's gone down either. Good luck with the saving. I find it easier paying off a debt than I do saving 😂 (though if it hadn't been unexpected, I would have preferred to save for it.
Thank you 😊 Lovely to hear from you, I was just thinking about you the other day. Hope all is ok with you.

My CC payment today on top of the PADs so the £7ks are creeping closer. Hopefully next month!
It was lovely and sunny this morning so we headed off to a NT place, and then across Dartmoor. It was nice to be out and about, although the rest of the world also thought the same!
1/2lb off today, though the scales teased 1lb for a bit. That's probably a good result though as I was still trying to finish off work on Thursday evening so just ordered pizza so I didn't have to stop and cook. A fair amount of chocolate has been consumed this week too! Today has not been on plan, and there's loads on next week so I don't hold much hope there. I'll do what I can when I can and not stress about it otherwise.
I looked back and I'm only 1.5lb lighter than Christmas, and only 4.5lb lighter than since little jwil broke his arm. But actually I'm considering that a win, as if I look through my weights in previous years, there is a regular pattern of gaining throughout the winter, right up until the spring (usually Easter). That clearly isn't happening this year, and if I can get to the end of March roughly the same weight or even lighter, then I'll be happy. I definitely find it easier when the days are brighter and warmer.
I haven't been sleeping well at all, which isn't helping. DH bless him slept on the sofa most of the night so I could try and get some sleep last night. I was asleep well before 9, but still woke in the night. I did feel better this morning despite that.
I got to the end of French in Duo this morning, so I am very pleased with myself. I can't decide between Spanish and German, so I've started both.
DH sold 3 lots yesterday so another few bits gone. I did some more listing, and will try and do some more tomorrow.

Well done on getting to the end of your French course. It’s weird isn’t it because all of a sudden you’ve finished. I’m about 8 days away from a 2000 day streak.
On the weight loss front, just think about how far you’ve come from this time last year. You’re doing great 😊I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
