Decluttered an exfoliator, and cheese and crackers for breakfast
Strange breakfast combination but assuming the exfoliator removes unwanted calories from the cheese?

I set up online payments for my dad's paper bill and paid this month's bill.  So much easier than taking his cheque to the shop which was always a pain.
organised our herbs and spices which now look very neat.
Christmas Decorations are all boxed up and stored away in the loft.

Finally stopped snowing long enough to dig my steps out (again) and a path to the road (again). Snow was three spades deep. Pondering digging my way into the back garden so I can get my mini spade to bring with me tomorrow. That's a job for daylight though.

That's an epic amount of snow!! We've just had an inch or so.

A small OAT here - I put December's photos onto the laptop and wrote a blog post.

Failed to ring the garage though which was the important thing on the list 🙄😂 An OAT for tomorrow!

Anyone on here do self assessment tax stuff? It's a massive OAT of mine and I'm running out of time. I set up a company in 2024 and did a little bit of private work, but then got my new job and stopped. I need to close the business down, but I need to figure out this tax first.
In slightly happier news, I just tried to log in to HMRC, logged in to my personal account rather than the business one, and apparently HMRC owe me £349!! Woohooooooo!! Nice of them to tell me (they worked that out in June 2025).

I do though just as a freelancer rather than a private company. Where have you got up to?
    Excellent rebate!

Absolutely nowhere Pip, I started at the end of the summer, then promptly gave up and avoided it until now. When I say started, I possibly just thought about it, or looked at the screen or something. I will go and try and find out. Or at least gather some info to help myself out with it.

Ok, this is hard. I need to get some fresh air, caffeine, and paper and pen. Putting it here to hold myself accountable. Someone check how far I've got tomorrow if you haven't heard from me  :D
