Maybe you should suggest separate washing machines?

Sorry to hear about your wayward washing machine 😬 Maybe it's something to do with the moon - our boiler overheated this evening because I had the audacity to run a bath slightly to fast 🙄 Have turned it off in disgust. At least it's not because a pound coin i is stuck in it! (We are equally guilty of leaving things in pockets in this house - our drain is usually clogged with plectrums and inter dental cleaners 😬)

Thanks @beanielou and @Cheery_Daff 😊 I will test the washing machine again tomorrow once I know Mr KK will be around to help me empty it again … (hopefully not this time! 🤞🤞).

Garden visit today was interesting. I won’t say enjoyable as it was pretty hot (there were many sun traps that we stood in for long periods of time as the owner talked), the minibus was pretty cramped and airless and because we left nearly an hour late 🙄 our visit was both extended and rushed 🤷‍♀️

It’s a deliberately wild garden. Things are allowed to run an and seed themselves around. Full on permaculture so they see ground elder as a useful salad crop and don’t worry about it growing where it wants to. They do have a lot of space though - 10 acres in total! I found it somewhat challenging to what my perceptions of what a garden could / should be. For me, at this moment in time it was too wild. Just occasionally I wanted more clear open spaces, some prettier plants, some brighter colours here and there. The whole space was gardened the way it wanted to evolve and for the wildlife. The wildlife certainly loved it - we saw dragonflies, masses of butterflies, all kinds of little flying and crawling insects and that was just what was around in the middle of the day.

Perhaps it is just ego driven dominance in me that is reacting to this as ‘not being enough of a garden’. But also may be not, as I didn’t react that way to the equally wildlife busy space of Yeo Valley organic garden … Something to ponder on further as I try to evolve my patch.

I did manage to tie up and organise my greenhouse this morning, though I note my cucumbers are already succumbing to mosaic virus … 🙄😢 I will have ripe baby tomatoes to pick to go with my first breakfast tomorrow 😊❤️

Chloe came home at 6.20am this morning! 😳😂😂 (I heard the cat flap go and checked the time.) As a result she has spent ALL day asleep and has now vanished again … Remind me again why we have a cat … ? 🤔❤️

Made toasted sweet pepper stuffed with cottage cheese and lentils for tea and am about to go out and do some exploratory removal of ‘stuff’ from under the contorted hazel for a bit to see if I can make space for something more interesting … If I can, I will skip the gym and work in the garden tomorrow morning, if I can’t it will be the gym. It’s in the lap of the Gardening Gods … 😉
