What to do, what to do????? Do I say 4 pounds to bring me down to the next stone mark or do I say 11 to get me to the next half stone?? Well supposedly we're going to be doing a dry January (which starts next Monday according to my calendar) so 11 pounds may be possible. On the other hand we have a lot of chocolate still to dispose of (granted my OH could hoover that up within about 30 seconds....).
No - let's be bold and say 11 pounds!! I've failed every one of these so far but I am making progress and that's all that matters. So put me down for 11 please!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I have failed all my targets so far! I do lose weight but never get below 11 st 10. I have reached that goal many times but then always go back up again. I originally started at about 12 st 6. I found it relatively easy to reduce to 11 st 10 but no further. If I exercise more, my appetite increases!Brie said:What to do, what to do????? As a NY resolution last night, I signed up to Better Gym/leisure just before midnight! Hopefully I will manage it now that I am not working full time.4 -
I want to lose a stone by June, so I’d like to go for 7 lb this quarter please
I feel very motivated, but am also aware I have a tendency to give up if it doesn’t happen quickly enough for me.
Having the accountability of reading about all of your progress, and posting weekly should help keep me on track.
I intend to weigh myself and post on Fridays, so that I can have a little treat on the weekend, then focus through the week before weigh day.
I will weigh on Friday for my starting point
Thanks all

7LB Please Brambling.
No Idea what the holiday damage is, I now know that "holiday bloat" along with IBS is not a good thing, hoping that getting back to my regular fruit, veg and protein will fix things.

Could I join please? I have been stuck yo-yoing between 10 stone 5 and 10 stone 11 for almost two years now. Better than my post-lockdown weight of over 11 and a half stone, but not ideal as I'm just under 5 foot tall.
I'll aim to lose the weight I gained over Christmas for this first quarter - that's 5lb.Fashion on the Ration 2026 - 66 coupons remaining
January Grocery Challenge - £0 of £250 spent

During lockdown I shot up from 11st to about 12st. I have never got back down to 11st. I am taller than you (5 ft 6).diminua said:Could I join please?
