Completed a frog yesterday and did several other admin tasks. More to do today.
Arm cast is feeling claustrophobic and I just want to rip it off! Taking it as a good sign that arm has healed and no longer needs it. It will have to stay on another week so I will need to distract myself with other things.
So, better make a start on working through today’s list.

MrsSD - my daughter said about me watching GBBO. I am not interested in watching a cookery show.
I watched my first tv in this house for 14 years. I was downstairs and watched 3 episodes of the first series of Great British Sewing Bee.
Young J has been here for 1 1/2 hours - painted the part of the front door that stuck. He also painted the white areas in the porch.
Day started off wet here. I will be at home today - can't go out if I wanted to as the front door must stay open.
Second to last pair of crochet mitts.

Weenancy, hurrah for the back surgery. You will be a new woman afterwards. I felt rough the first few days but once the body began healing it was the most perfect relief from the dragging back pain. I was a bit taller too. Fantastic that one room mate is moving out. Fingers crossed for the other one. I agree with TC, you will need a firmer mattress than a foam one. We bought the foam girls name one, gave it to DSS, It was just too hot. That's the last thing you need where you live. Fingers crossed for a lovely convalescent place where you can relax and enjoy being looked after. Sending much love xxx

I shifted the garden waste from the back grass to the green bin, and spent half an hour weeding in the front garden which looks lots better. I did notice that some of the spring bulbs are already coming through though 🤷♀️ I had planned to cut the back grass but it has rained here before I got up, so that will have to wait.

All very random this time round, I go to one of the many places which need sorting, and try to do something before the sheer awfulness of it all squashes my mojo; wherever I try to start, I should have started in at least two other places first.
Anyway, moan over. So far since last I posted,
Out:
Worn out t-shirt, 3 overstretched elasticated vest tops (textile recycling);
To Paper etc recycling: envelopes from several pieces of unopened post sorted from pile of newspapers, (contents piled on dining table (to be sorted)), circulars and catalogues; cardboard packaging; tetrapaks to tetrapak recycling bin in car park; 2 egg boxes which were used for Christmas decorations;
To household rubbish bin: stray polythene bags from defrosting 2 freezers; too-ugly-to-use long handled duster; old washing up brush
tummy-upsetting dog food to food waste box, bag to recycling (tested not plastic-lined);
cutlery holder and 6 books to “try on eBay” box;6 books to CS pile;
1 bucketful of rotten crabapples thrown under shrubs; dead bedding plants to garden waste; 2 handfuls of dandelions and several long trails of ivy pulled up from might-be lawn and into garden waste (preparatory to strimming said lawn alias weed patch, strimming didn’t happen because the preparation used up all my energy, and made my back ache).
Apart from that, emails sent and replies dealt with; ironing basket emptied; bits of housework done; social activities attended.

Still chipping away and even managed to eject another cookbook. It's going to get even more tricky soon! I've also made a short list of things I want to use up from the baking cupboard and a few ideas on how to get them used up.
Digital:
1 - filter to automate email deletion
1 - bookmarks deleted
1 - notes deleted
9 - photos deletedPhysical:
Bags and packaging
1 - packaging reusedKitchen stuff
1 - freezer oversupplies used upBooks and Paperwork
6 - paper reused then recycled
1 - recipe book - only one recipe I would likely make in reality and I took a photo of it - I ignored the "what if's" given the internet is a thing and I haven't used it for the last 4+ years I've owned it.. (charity bag)
6 - paperwork recycled from stuff on the noticeboard I don’t need anymoreKids stuff
19 - DD tat recycled/binnedRandom stuff

I have been wafting my hair dryer on a low setting over the wet paint on the front door.
I finished what I thought was the last pair of crochet mitts but when I went to put everything away in the craft storage room - I found a started pair in the bag.
At least it looks tidier in my craft room with the yarn and bag put away.
What I thought was the last pair of mitts -

Gardener has magicked away many weeds and a humongous clump of grass (talking 2 square meters of stuff a meter high). Sadly it appeared that 2 of the rose bushes had died. I asked him to not dig them out but to cut them very low on the off chance there is some life left in the root stock. If not he can dig them out at some future date.
And while I had decluttered my old nearly dead smart watch it's fancy new replacement arrived today so it's charging and hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to use it properly over the next few days. I'm pleased that it uses the same charger as the old one which means I don't have to start looking for spares.

Thank you everyone for your nice words about my diamond art.
Today I have sorted out the towels and bedding drawers and one item has gone into the rag bag, I have also put some washing away, I have also emptied the bin in my craft room. It was wet this morning but has now brightened up so the washing has gone out
I have hoovered up upstairs and then took some more photos which I will upload tonight.
I have also done some work on my 2 college courses ready for tomorrow and Thursday.

@QueenJess one can never go wrong with chocolate crispy cake ! Yummy 😋
@Blue_Doggy looks like you got your mojo back. I know that feeling of overwhelm and losing one's mojo. Hope you can take comfort in how much you've done. Random is fine in my books!
