Deb4, well done on the sales 👏 Good luck with the bonsai tree 🍀
ruby_eskimo, absolutely no need to creep back in - it is just lovely to see you 👋 & what a beautiful compliment 🥹 Congratulations on almost completing the house renovations - you have been working hard 👏 So sorry to hear about your DH although a shock, an early diagnosis & treatment should give your DH the best chance of a full recovery 🙏 Gentle cwtches to your DH & his mum 🤗 Also please make sure to take care of yourself whilst looking after your DH 🙏 What a great use of your DH’s time in hospital - planning garden renovations ☺️ Pleased to hear that your builder will be coming so quickly to quote for the garden work 😊
Liverpool_Anne, well done on dealing with the scam call so efficiently 👏 Hopefully OH’s pension issue can be sorted out quickly & efficiently 🤞 I will also be keeping my fingers crossed that the problem with the car turns out to be less serious & by extension less expensive than the garage is indicating🤞 Hope you had a lovely day with your niece & her husband ☺️
Siebrie, excellent work dealing with so many frogs 👏 Definitely worthy of a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way. Very sorry to hear that DD1’s disregarding your instructions to leave your phone alone has led to her knowing about your intention to divorce 😔 A heavy burden to bear 😞 Hopefully the teachers at DD2’s school will pay attention to the information you have given them 🤞
Excellent work dealing with so many frogs vulpix 👏 Very impressed that your loft is empty & loved This “It is a calm oasis of insulation” a great turn of phrase ☺️ Pleased to hear that you have a date for the bathroom renovation 😊 & like the idea that Fluffy will be lending a paw 🙊
Nice to see you back Soontobeoap 👋 Well done on managing to fit in some gardening work whilst looking after the grandchildren 👏 This “Have decided too that I need a new house to accommodate the rapidly growing family!🤣” had me laughing fit to burst 🤣
Siebrie, lovely to hear how well both your daughters & your Mum are doing 🥹 Congratulations to DD1 on passing her secondary school ‘exams’ & to DD2 on her robot building prowess 🥳
Slowly chipping away at the cheerleading & will hopefully catch up over the weekend. Sleep tight 😴

Morning all.
I had a better night so up earlier today.
Cloudy and dull here but it is the start of Autumn in 2 day's time.
Rain is forecast so I won't do any washing as I like to get it outside for freshness.
Hope everyone is doing okay in their decluttering journey.
My son is feeling very down, and now on antidepressants and sleeping tablets.

@Florenceem I'm glad to read your son is being supported by his GP, just to note that antidepressants can take a few weeks to work properly, and he may feel "numb" as they kick in.

Floss - my son was taking diazepam which I know is a quick acting drug. He feels that he doesn't get any enjoyment out of anything and feels it is all so pointless.
Two of my daughters and my granddaughter went to Regents Park open air Cats yesterday.
I tried on some clothes this morning - they have all gone in the donations bag.
Decluttered - knitting needles, necklaces, card dies, bag of key rings, carrier bags, polystyrene, paper bags, lavender, heat gun, large cloth bag of yarn, embroidery threads, pack of socks, sewing kit, reel of cotton, broken jewellery, peg stamps, holographic card, stickers, trousers, 6 blouses, cardboard boxes, polythene bags and 4 100g balls of dk yarn

Decluttered a lot of balloons yesterday as I did a set up for a birthday.
Soryed out all holiday clothes so either away or in the case to go in the loft. Created a new bag of things that need donating. That will be gone this weekend.

Hi everyone
I have decluttered some hair at the hairdressers this morning and posted my 3 parcels and packaging used up.
Listening to the Football so might not have any nails by the time it finishes.
DS broke his umbrella so that's gone in the bin.
Washing was pegged out but it did rain so that's been brought back in, really need to do some ironing as it's piling up.
Going to take some photos later so I can upload some more bits.

I found a photo of my hall when the door was brown, green carpet and a doormat sunk into the floor.
The second photo is with a white painted door but still the green carpet.
Next we had a grey laminate floor. I had decluttered the inlaid mat and changed the door glass.
Final photo is the hall now - I want the front door painted a Bisque colour but that may have to wait until hopefully an indian summer as it would need to be open for hours. My young J has been away helping his uncle by decorating and gardening.

Saturday is a damp drizzly day with a high of 21°C feeling 3° cooler due to a SSW wind & a low of 17° The sort of steady drizzle that soaks into the ground - the garden is loving it 😊 Typically I need to do some laundry, so 1st load is in wm. The sun finally came out at 14:45 but didn’t stay long ☹️ Now overcast with a few minutes of light drizzle.
Lovely to see you surprisinglynice 👋 Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself videoing the thunderstorms ☺️ Nothing here yet - just a few peals of thunder a couple of days ago & a bit of drizzle. I saw some crumbs from the quiche 😉 that will teach me to fall behind with the cheerleading 😅
Lovely cheerleading Florenceem ☺️ Sorry to hear about your pain filled Thursday night 😔 Hopefully you had a better night’s sleep Friday night 🙏
florianatwobob, the quote for the loft conversion sounds much more manageable than moving house 😮💨
Excellent work Willowtree222 👏
Lovely cheerleading dND ☺️ I don’t think your mojo would ever try to skive off 😉 More great work processing garden produce 👏 I definitely think you should treat yourself to a new planter ☺️ That is absolutely ridiculous having Christmas stuff already out in August 🙄 No wonder you took the opportunity to buy a 2027 diary. Regardless of not being copperplate handwriting like your dad’s, your handwriting is still beautiful & flowing & more importantly legible ☺️ Thanks for the extra recipes especially the soup recipe 👏
Florenceem, your bedroom is beautifully decorated & so tidy ☺️ & your colour scheme is perfect 😍 I love the vase by your bed.
Lovely cheerleading Yorkie1 ☺️ Sometimes I get lost in watching the birds & all of a sudden 20 minutes has just vanished 😅 Sorry to hear that work is so stressful 😥 In my opinion a team that doesn’t consult or listen does more harm than good so I am surprised that senior management don’t step in ☹️
Brambling, loving all the courgette recipes 😊
Thanks for the recipe Yorkie1 👏
Excellent work vulpix 👏 With all that planning you are certainly going to be busy 😊 I can’t believe that DGS2 is almost one - where has the time gone 🤔 The good thing about less flowery writing is that it is legible for everyone 👏 Good luck building the bunk beds 🍀 I will keep my fingers crossed that there is enough room for the shelves & pictures + that you can find the plant pot you want for the olive tree🤞
Only a page behind now 😊 I have prepped everything ready for dinner & will start cooking shortly. See you later 👋

MrsSD - the vase came from Mil's flat and is just the right colour for my bedroom.
I have 2 more items from Mil - they are red so in my lounge, I must remember to take photos.
I was given baby tomatoes last Sunday - I am roasting them with onions & garlic in oil and balsamic vinegar.
So sad about the accident at the christian festival. Members from my old Salvation Army corps were there.
