1006 -another remote control recycled

1007 - Rolling pin to DD

1008 - 1011 - 4 old tax returns and associated paperwork shredded

1012 - pile of old bank stmts shredded

1013 - 1016 - 4 school shirts turned into rags, remnants binned

1017 - 1 pr painting jeans binned (too big and VERY holey around the crotch!)

1018 -1 painting tshirt binned (have heaps)

1019 -Pile Of old receipts/ instructions/ guarantees recycled

1020 - old iron freegled

1021 - 1032 - 12 coathangers (broken or very small ones) - binned

Evening all,

I am so tired this evening so food, walk dogs soak in the bath and nice early night for me.. aiming for in bed by 8.30!

Also quick one, we went to the charity shop earlier and I picked this up.. a bargain at £2.50!

I also picked up these skirts, 50p each!! Although im not 100% sure on the pattern of the m&s one (blue one)!

1. Daily To Do List - written the night before
2. Sort out sleep patterns - initial targets: bed by 03:00, up by 10:30
3. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc.
4. Commence ‘Operation Financial Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
5. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
6. Plan & Execute ONE Major Project - 2026 New Bathroom
7. Target 2026 items out

Monday is already a warm, sunny day with a forecast high of 25°C, low of 12°C & a N wind making it feel 1° warmer. Having fallen asleep on the sofa, I woke up in time to make DH a coffee as he is off on his RBR travels. He is heading off to North Wales & having an overnight stop. Due to the warm weather he is wearing his summer biking gear & I have provided him with a large bottle of water. He packed the bike, set up the satnav & I waved him off at 08:05  So whilst I am awake I will try to catch up with the cheerleading 😉

I was doing quite well with the cheerleading but then got distracted by wanting to finish the digital decluttering 😉 So more time spent BUT am happy now - deleted one folder completely & managed to reduce files by a further 9% 🥳 counting as 2 (1208 - 1209) DH phoned about 16:30 - he had had a good day & was grateful that he wore his summer biking gear as the temperature hit 27°C. He is hoping to be home about 17:30 tomorrow. I broke off here to cook dinner - beef in gravy with boiled new potatoes & green beans from the freezer. I do hope everyone has had as good a day as possible ☺️ See you later 👋

I had a day at home apart from when I popped round to SA hall. I was asked to go just before the corps council meeting. I took a bag of fabric for recycling, a SA shirt and 5 SA aprons plus 3 keys.

C prayed and said thanks for my service at the corps and I came home to get my dinner. I had leftovers from the celebration so my challenge goes on.

There was a bike thrown in the middle of the pavement when I went round the corner. It is not in good condition. I took a photo and put it in my side alley. I will put it on the local found/lost/stolen. If not claimed it will go to the tip - I will ask a neighbour with an estate car to take it when he goes to the tip.

bluejay your red check skirt - I had that in probably 1994 or 95 in a blue check. Loved that skirt 😍 you got great bargains
