Out, electrical cables,4 huge outdoor ceramic tiles, a holly sapling and pot, a yellow privet bush, feels like more went today but I can't remember what.
Trip to family in Oxfordshire yesterday. Stuff from the shed used to make a sand box also stuff to tie up a huge rambling rose. Piece of wood to fix garden table, a big ceramic pot and 2 big plastic pots plus some wild flower seeds I had been gifted planted with DGS 1.
The garden in general is looking much tidier as pots are being emptied and their contents going in the ground. I have found another big pot that I will give DIL when I next go down on Thursday.
The front garden is close to being planted up. I need to dig up some stuff from the back garden next and transplant to the front.
Apparently I made Mr v go through his Mother's papers before we moved last year. When we finally get rid of his Mum's house a lot of it will be able to go.
My friend is giving me some big stone slates from her 300 year old farm house. I don't know what I will do with them yet but I will think of something.
suzeesu, your poor husband, that sounds grim.x

Sunday continued: DH has been a busy bee doing several little tasks - fed the worms, emptied the kitchen compost bin into the garden compost bin, swept up the hedge clippings from the road, trimmed the lower branches from the olive tree (we need to get someone in to properly prune) & lastly he pumped up the bike tyres & set the suspension for 2 people. Meanwhile I prepped vegetables etc for dinner. I have gathered together my packing but think I might have to thin it out. Turns out I didn’t have to & even had enough space to pack my waterproof trousers 😊 Dinner was roasted beef, roast potatoes, cabbage, green beans, Yorkshire puddings & hm gravy 😋 Wudupa. We had a short light shower at 22:40

Hi all, been missing again, sorry 😁. Well I don't feel as if much actual decluttering has been happening as I seem to have spent most of my days just removing dust and bits of rubble. I clean something and the next day it's covered in dust again but it is slowly getting better. I did manage to get the old gas cooker out of the house and it is now waiting for the council to collect unless a scrap man spots it and decides to remove it but it is out of the house 😁. The kitchen set up in the back room is functional and the routines for doing the washing up and hand washing are working but I am getting through my stash of hand cream at a rate of knots 😂. In between times I have met up with ex colleagues for tea and had loaded a bin bag of plant pots and some seeds into the car to pass on but the lady couldn't make it so they are still in the car so won't be counted yet as I may need to unload them when I have lifted the old kitchen floor to take to the skip 😂. I also did a bit in the garden because I just had to get out of the house and away from the dust for a while 😂. I am not sure how to count the dust removal so am just counting the number of rags heading to the bin 😂 and bags of rubble into the bin 😂. The builders did take most of it but I keep finding bits of broken tile etc as I do my daily mop around.😂
II did have a bit of an adventure as I managed to lock myself out of the house when taking a bag of rubbish to the bin. The back door was open and the wind blew the front door shut 😑. Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem but ln, who has a key, was out so nothing for it but I had to climb over the 6 foot gate to get into the back garden. It was a bit of a struggle as I am not as agile as I used to be and I was wearing my slippers 😂, but no harm done and I won't do that again 😂
Now of course the world cup has started so I confess I am distracted by that but I am also knackered being a week away from my b12 jab so I am justifying my lounging around watching the footy with that 😂.
Sorry I still haven't caught up with all the posts so I hope everyone is doing well. Hugs to everyone who would like one
Looking at my list I am adding 40 to my numbers so I am now at 834/2026
Take care everyone

I have slowed up here as my shoulder / neck is giving me a lot of pain so I am trying to rest it. I think that I might have to get a gardener in just to weed through the garden so that I can feel back in control of it. D H has been strimming our small grass path but if I let him lose on the weeds we would have no plants left. 🤣. Also it will be enough work for him to sort out the front t garden. I am not finding it easy asking someone else to do all of my lifting and heavy work for me but have to concede that long term it makes sense.
Has anyone heard anything from @weenancyinamerica ?

suzeesu2000 - poor hubby. I have something similar - I have Meniere's disease.
MrsSD - I have a lot more to leave the house. When I was in bestie's charity shop yesterday - the craft section was mostly my donations.
I was sitting doing my knitting yesterday evening when my doorbell went. I had already locked up. It was J - not decorator J but his brother - the dancer. He wanted to use the toilet. He was nearly finished on his shift delivering groceries for sainsbur.. J is off to London soon for a costume fitting session. He had a mesh top last year but said he felt insecure! Really I said to him - you don't have boobs to hide. He wants a more covered up style top for the European tour. I thought - he is becoming a Diva.
I had a nearly pain free day yesterday followed by a pain free night's sleep. I wonder if my decision about where I worship was causing me stress which triggered nerve pain. Now my mind is settled. I looked it up and this was on the info site -
Yes, stress can indirectly cause or worsen nerve pain in lichen sclerosus (LS) by triggering inflammation, over-activating the nervous system, and causing pelvic floor muscle tension.
Two of the regular worshippers at my old corps came to worship with us yesterday. The woman was upset on Friday by C - he is driving people away. I watched the online service - very low number of congregation.
My next gnome is going to be autistic - I am using a variegated yarn and the legs are different shades.
Dull and wet day here. I got up late.
Off to town soon.
Hope everyone has a good productive decluttering day.

Monday is overcast but bright with a forecast high of 21°C (feeling 2° cooler due to an ESE wind) & a low of 14°C. We will be setting off at about 11:00 with our first overnight stop in Appleby.
Liverpool_Anne, no need to apologise 😉 Hopefully the nearer the kitchen gets to completion the less dust & rubble you will have to dispose of 🤞 Good news that you managed to wrestle the cooker out of the house & fingers crossed it will be gone soon 🤞 Oops to getting locked out 😱 but well done climbing over a 6’ gate 🥳 Sounds like watching the World Cup matches will help you conserve your energy until it is time for your B12 shot 😊 Well done keeping on the decluttering 👏
Soontobeoap, sorry to hear about the shoulder & neck pain 😔 Please take it easy 🙏 & try to enjoy being a supervisor rather than a worker 😉
DH is just loading our bags into the bike so I will wish you all a good day & will see you later 👋

Well its been ages since I logged on here. Been so busy.
Lots still going on in work and it seems AI is taking over. I absolutely HATE AI but we're being made to use it now as a tool in our roles. I can honestly see us training this AI and eventually losing our jobs but what can we do.
I just have to hope that doesn't happen.
What I don't understand is that companies, the one I work for included, have all these sustainability goals but are using AI which is going to KILL the planet. The amount of water it uses is astronomical but yeah hit householders with a hosepipe ban that will help.
I'm mad about it can you tell!
Bailey hurt his leg, x rays and painkillers and I'm down £700, put in a complaint about the money grabbing vets and submitted my insurance claim today. More importantly though my Bailey boy is now totally fine, few days of complete rest and the limp is gone.
Had my mum staying for a couple of weeks to help out with Bailey which was a great help. She went home today and its nice to just be alone for a while.
Anyhoo I'm sure there will be a lot I've missed.
Hugs to all that need them and I haven't caught up completely - it has been very busy on here as usual which I love.17 -
@Soontobeoap - Thanks for asking about me. I haven't been posting about what is going out as it is mainly books (still a bag a week). Roommates are still causing problems. G has been falling off the wagon again and has been told by his doctor it will kill him if he does, one roommate who has been in hiding at his girl friend's most of the time has been trying to do himself in; Di is awaiting gallbladder surgery but has been gaining weight like crazy; and the other roommate won't come downstairs until 6 pm each day and hides out most of the time. Me, I have been reading like crazy and knitting or crocheting for my class. Working on indexing a parish in England for a roommate because of terrible misspellings in the index that is available using my Excel program that I am learning in class. Still working on the library book sales and helping at the Family History Centre, but not much stuff going out as it isn't my stuff making the mess. So I am resigned to moving things around mostly while I wait for back surgery. Our medical system is as slow as yours.

@weenancyinAmerica - Don't know how you deal with all of that honestly . What's the last book you read? I've been trying to get into a book but my brain is too busy too focus on it.
