Sorry to read that about your Mum.xx
I am away next week for my (50th) birthday and I'm going to think about what I want for my life for the future while I'm away from home. I have a big to do list when I get back. I want to do a full declutter again now my house is lovely and clean.🙂

Been really busy at work this week so I am 125 posts behind on this thread 😬. Hugs for anyone that needs them. I also have a chocolate sandwich cake in the tlc carriage, but you might have to fight the kids for it!
Catching up with the tidying and general stuff this weekend and surprisingly lots gone this week. Still working through food cupboards and the freezer though and still got a few things in the wardrobe I've not yet worn. I really need to do the same thing with my shoes as I am a magnet for ankle boots..
I've been trying to get the kids to eject 1 thing per day from their rooms (usually by doing 7 at the weekend). It can be as small as actually putting something in the bin or getting rid of 1 piece of paper, but I figure it stems the flow of stuff in a little bit and will help later on somewhere. It also reminds me to check their clothes slightly more often so that I am hopefully less overwhelmed with all the changing sizes and wardrobe changes.

Large and heavy shelf unit collected.
Realise dd1 asked if I had a black cardigan and said didn't think so , then found one so made sure I wore it (if I can't wear something then it should go). Put it away and then opened the drawer the next day and realised 2 ....
Dd1 asked if I have any spare toiletry bags etc as she starts work next month and needs to take handcream etc. Think I offered one and no takers so went in cs bag but no doubt I can find one. Offering her tupperware etc so we'll see what I can pass on :)
Hope people have had a peaceful Sunday.

Thank you everyone, you really are the best and I am grateful to be in such an awesome group.
Much happier looking at pantry shelves, it’s amazing how quickly it can get messy. Today I had to put our new wills away so Decluttered our “safe” while I was at it. Big pile to shred, plus another pile that was okay to go in recycling. And a much neater “safe”.
Spent some time, several weeks ago, photographing all my clothes, except nightwear and undies. Loaded all to laptop and has made life so much easier for me. Over the weekend, I had a lovely couple of hours working out which tops went well with which bottoms and what I needed to let go or needed to get. I am, at last, enjoying my clothes and like looking respectable. I did get in that rut of just wearing jeans every day.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend, shame we only had the one day of sunshine. Have a good evening all xx

Sunday was overcast with a forecast high of 12°C (feeling 5° colder due to brisk SSW wind) & a low of 8°C Short shower at 12:30. DSis did one load of laundry. I did nothing all day apart from watch TV & then make dinner - a full roast. Beef, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots & tomatoes, Yorkshire puddings, green beans with gravy which DH made. It was 🤤 Wudupa.
