    Thank you! No, not really taking money out for things I should have a category for. I think my biggest issue is that 2 years ago I could comfortably feed us all for £60 a week and now I can't so I am eeking myself through the month. Then I am torn because I also don't want to move more money into my monthly spends and them become more wasteful…I think £100 might be the better option actually and I will save £300. Reassessing in April is a good plan!

    hi

    I worked at home today, coffee from the kitchen but from a coffee shop, made a meal from items in the cupboard, not needed to buy a thing.

    So that’s another NSD woohoo!

    @laurenh1 what @Wanna_Bee_Free said, except if it was me I'd maybe bump general savings up by a smaller amount, maybe £50 for a fortnight and see how you go with that, then if it's not enough raise it again by another £50, until you reach the point where you feel a bit more comfortable. But as you say these things are very personal. xx :) :)

    @KajiKita yay! One advantage of the link actually is the emojis display at the proper size, even on phones - the forums have been shrinking pics for ages. So there's that!

    @AuntieL thank you xx :)
