Can everyone pls tell me whether you are having any problems viewing the emojis on this link. I can see them when I look at them on different browsers so hopefully they are visible to everyone. :)

Money savers I would appreciate your thought on my finances. I currently have a few savings pots in which I put £100 Xmas, £250 holidays, £200 spends for treats (this would over spending money for holidays) £200 for my car, and general savings of £400 a month. This is quite a recent thing and I probably have about 2k in savings altogether. Id Love to have a savings pot for a rainy day of about 10k , to cover boiler, cars etc. (the current car pot is to cover insurance etc) However if its leaving us quite tight every month and with about £60 a week for groceries as a family of 4. I am considering lowering my general savings to £250 p/m. I realise this is a really personal thing but any advice would be welcome :)

Lauren I think I would be tempted to try with £100 more instead of £150 and try putting £300 into general savings instead of £250. Whichever approach you take I'd be tempted to tell myself it's a 3 month trial to take the pressure off and then you can review end of April and see how you feel with more information. Are you stealing back savings for anything that should really be planned seperately in the budget? I am still adding budget categories myself. I have called my savings Emergency Fund rather than General Savings as I'm worred about it turning into a general fritter money away pot! Good luck with it anyway!
