HB like you we work out what the annual costs for everything are, divide by 12 and then ensure we put money aside to cope with when they come in. Luckily a lot of the big ones are December so we have enough to cover them.Right 54321Mortgage, paid off!9 -

Morning,
So this morning I've done my several phone calls to DD2 to wake her up. She's known for turning alarms off and going back to sleep.
I then walked to the P.O to pay my rent and pay money into my account. The to the vets to pick up Cat2 flea treatment and then went in the discount shop next door to see what I could get in there cheaper than my Mr T order list. Then walked home, 9,363 steps so far so I'm happy with that.
I'm now congratulating myself with a (decaf) coffee while I rejig my shopping list then I'll start on the bathroom

though somehow I doubt it...So unfair. I did post about actual Flying yesterday, but it was:a) not a lot,b) very boring,c) and I can't think of anything else even less interesting to say about it.Today I have decluttered Belovéd to the station for his annual new year trip to London.I have also decluttered two and three quarter out of date pints of cream, seven bars of chocolate, some booze and a shred of sugar. I appear to have acquired 25 chocolate desserts. The two may be related.Better is good enough.7 -
Good afternoon all.
I decided to have a lazy morning and catch up on some paperwork while watching TV.
My list for the rest of today
Take the rubbish to the recycling centre
Check that everything is in the diary for next week
Take the dog for a long walk
Take DD to the stables so she can feed and check on her pony
Laundry x 1 load
Empty the TD and put laundry away
Empty the living room bin
Tidy up the pile that has been collecting at the side of the sofa
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday.

I apologise... it is boring, isn't it? Though I was referring to the fact that I was first to post today, and it was really, really lateHoney_Bear said:Valli said:I hope the lack of posts means you're all busy flying!

I've ironed everything that's dry enough so that's airing.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Some washing done. First load is drying on the heated airer. Second load is drying/soon to start freezing on the washing line.
i tidied and re-organised my baking supplies and ppersonally de-cluttered some chocolate chips so I could wash the storage jar.
I'm pleased with the spec and span living room and will do a superficial tidy and clean of the hall, stairs and landing but will be scooting around the decorations for now.8 -
Washing brought in - not bone dry but dry enough to iron so that's a win.
Bank a/c spreadsheet up to date - paperwork filed and the bed in the study/guest room is slightly less clutteredDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Bed in spare room also decluttered here, clean laundry put away, dishcloth flicked around kitchen. We have been to the coast and had fish and chips (as if we hadn't consumed enough calories in the past few days). It was lovely but very cold.Valli said:Washing brought in - not bone dry but dry enough to iron so that's a win.

We have also called at Mr Ts for a few bits to take with us on our New Year trip and spent a ridiculous amount but it's still more economical than eating out. This will be our last evening at home with DS which is a little bit sad.
New Year's Eve tomorrow, can't quite believe that.9
