Printer Not Printing

My Brother printer model no DCP-J315W has decided to stop printing. I have done all the following checks without success.Changed black cartridge checked connctionsTurned printer and laptop off at the mains went into prnters and scanners and the job was in the queue but was gone after doing the unsuccessful print and ran cleaning check not sure what else I can check any advice would be appreciated

As you saw a job in the queue, we can assume it was sent from the PC, were there any error messages?0

No, not a document from your computer. The printer will have a way to print a test page direct from its own physical menu. That will help you figure out if the problem is the printer or the connection to the computer.0
