That sounds incredibly helpful and positive.
Well done on the water front, I tend to drink a bit water every time I use the loo as there's plastic tumblers in the bathroom, I find thats easy to do and to remember to do cos I'm at the sink already.
You are very good at identifying your own triggers so hopefully working on this new way will calm everything down and you'll come up with solutions to them being triggers and they'll soon be stuff you can just switch off from too.
I think its very perceptive to be recognising that ex is likely to come up with something (consciously or unconsciously) in the few days before your wedding. Do you have a trusted friend you could leave your phone with and know they would only pass on messages that are genuinely important so you don't see nonsense? I would suggest switching it off but I doubt you would just in case ds2 was to get in touch. (On that note you maybe could get a payg and only give that number to people you want to get in touch with you then you'd be using that on a daily basis and only check in with your other phone when you have the strength to deal with anything? Would that work as a day to day filter ?? Just a thought)

The wedding chat is interesting, I do think there can be a lot of pressure to do the 'perfect' day as viewed by other people. I have been married twice and both times did immediate family only, department store dress, and family meal out afterwards and both worked out as enjoyable low stress days for everybody concerned. My idea of hell would have been the big meringue dress, hotel reception and all that attention. It is very easy to slip into spending more than you intended too.
How is the garden stuff coming along? I keep seeing bunting and fairy lights and thinking of your plans.

@daisy_1571 DS2 has said he will come to the wedding but seeing as though he's very quiet at the moment my guess is this is probably the news - he doesn't want to come after being guilty tripped by Ex. I'm ready for it. I won't be very happy about it but not much I can do.
I've had 4 glasses of water today. One herbal tea instead of normal tea and two normal ones this morning.... My afternoon snack was twiglets as they were in the cupboard 🫣 and three vegan puff pastry biscuits (from the world food aisles) which taste a bit weird to me so I'm trying to get to the end of the pack....they've lasted two months so far 😅😅😅.
I did two hours of gardening and came in. The back of the garden looks a lot clearer now. I cleaned the patio slabs of leaves , twigs etc and gave it a general tidy up. I also filled the green bin with all the large branches and twigs that didn't break down in the compost (this was DP 'helping' me with filling the compost bin the other year 😅🙈). Then I dropped a parcel back to collection point for a refund and took DD to the gym, we did a bit of swimming (I did 6 lengths) and sauna. I feel pretty tired now to be honest but in a good way....I'm not utterly fatigued yet. The massage has left me with a very sore tummy 😳 and it's helped me to go to the toilet twice already (tmi sorry) so hopefully by Saturday it won't be as sore or hard when she's massaging it.
Dinner is tofu, rice and veg. Trying to keep it plain and simple and I'll have a small bowl instead of my usual portion. And if hungry later on I will have a yoghurt and some fruit.
Tomorrow I'm taking DD and her bf to meadow hell (as I think 🐞 @ladybird1106 once called it and I laughed so hard because it was so true) I need a few bits but I'm going because DD and her bf wanted to go and he isn't keen to drive that far yet as he's only just passed his test. I might take myself off to find a movie to watch and have a wander around ik3a whilst I'm there. Quite looking forward to a day on my own (although I'd rather do it in my garden 😅).

I've manifested three bookcases 🫣😉. I said the other day, I want a book but it's in the 'box pile' and I couldn't be bothered lifting them all out because they're in a small under stairs cupboard in DS 2 / second reception room and I always hurt myself on the door, bang my head and it's dark and dingy even with the lights on in there. I need to buy three bookcases, I said to DP (small ones to go under a window).
Well I got back from the gym and one bookcase was outside a neighbours house 'FREE' on it. So we knocked on the door and said we'll have that please and thank you 😁. We stood and had a chat with her for a while, shame this is the first time and she's now moving ... As we carried it across to ours I said to DP, brill, one down two to go!
She's come over to us this afternoon and knocked and said, Well I have two more as I'm moving and need to downsize, would you like them? 🤩
Ummm yes, please and thank you again 😁. She's going to pack the books away in the next few days and DP can collect it. 🙏🏻❤️ I can unpack my books then! Woop. How's that for a quick manifestation.

Morning all, well I double booked my cousin with counselling 🤦🏻♀️ oops. I realised when the counsellor messaged to change the appointment 😆 so actually that worked out well. I can see cousin and counsellor on a different day.
I'm in the shopping centre, haven't done much shopping, I'm feeling very poor right now as I'm waiting on so many refunds to process 🙈. DD and bf are shopping though and are happy so I will sit and read my book. I've got some detox symptoms from yesterday, headache and sweating (I rarely sweat so feels real weird to me). I also feel really quite dizzy today ☹️ I'm hydrating, I'm sitting regularly and also walking slowly regularly as I heard this helps with detox. And I'll find something to do when we've eaten. We're going to meet up and eat together as they wanted to. Then I'll find another quiet corner, possibly with a cuppa and a book again 😆.

Phew, long day and I was done in by the time I arrived home. I had to lie down for an hour or so…super tired still now so will get an early night.
The last dress parcel arrived for me today and honestly I was giving up on trying to find something else now. The dresses that came were lovely, white too so wedding like, but they didn't fit right so I've started the return for these too.
I've made a momentous decision everyone. I'm not looking any more for dresses 🤣 I'm sticking with my initial choice. And of those dresses I have two to decide between...well I made a decision there too. Blimey what's up with me eh. Making decisions and all that. I've opted for the cream one with flowers. And I went onto their website and was a little annoyed to see I was offered 15% discount immediately 😡. Wasn't offered that in store. So I've ordered it again as it was free delivery. I'll return the same dress to store along with the one I decided against 😁 and that's it. Don't let me look anywhere else 🤣. I have also decided as it's a midi length and quite swooshy that I'd like a petticoat under it a tulle type thing so I'm looking for one of those in the right length and colour now to finish it off 🙂🌼. Just need some shoes then and done.
I've also learned today that you can start a return on k1arna so they don't try to take money out when it's due if your refund is still in process so I've let them know about two pending refunds for around £1500 🙈🙈 and that's made me be able to breathe again because both were due next month. And I was ever so slightly, not much 🫣, panicking about refunds not being processed quick enough and having to pay it.
DS1 is chatting with me. He's got lots of garden furniture but can't afford to bring it over in a van as he's currently paying for a divorce 🙈. So I said if I have money next month I'll pay for the van and he can bring it over in time for the wedding, it saves me having to buy anything and I'd probably spend the same amount again on a new set. And he can bring all his bits over ready for his move out of the home on barracks so he can move back into the halls. He's also sending me his CV over for a read and I've helped him with it, which I thought was sweet he asked considering I'm really not in the know of anything he's talking about on there so I just offered a grammatical voice really and layout 😆.
Considering I was out all day I had low spends. I got free water in the shopping centre and 1kea to keep hydrated. I bought some food and a sieve (needed one) and paracetamol for a headache and that was it 🙌🏻.go me.

A suggestion for the garden furniture: I had a party for a significant birthday whilst I was renting and as it was covid times had it in an orchard on the farm I was renting. I used my horsebox to move the garden furniture I had at the cottage to my rental and popped it in my orchard. Then people renting nearby - that I did not really know - lent me their garden furniture. I was just told to pick it up so, on foot, that is what I did. Then returned it the next day. (Some one spread the word and I was told where I could pick it up from).
Do you have the next door app?? or a face book area app? You could ask to borrow furniture for the day and if no one offers you can still do the van hire but it might be a cost neutral option? (I'm really bad at asking but a polite post asking if you can borrow for a special day being done on a budget might work - I'd lend 3 tables and chairs and 2 benches to a neighbour even if I only just about knew them for such a special event).
