Afternoon all,
This morning I was in work early for a meeting, and oh my gosh, the newbie did not let the side down for her performance today with the throwing herself around in her chair and whining. It has now been escalated to bosses boss and HR. She demanded to be allowed to do something today that was not needed just because 'it would make me feel prepared' (scope out where a placement is....) no was the answer, drive past on your way home (or like the rest of us use g00gle maps) She had her usual meltdowns over it and the answer would usually be swayed to an okay to pacify her. Today it was a firm no and reiterated several times. Two of us sat there like statues silently waiting until the drama was over with. Her behaviour feels unsafe and unpredictable and totally unprofessional to me and I don't like it. She was super odd all day. It's the only word I can use to describe her. And she disappeared twice and left early. So, yes, escalation has finally happened...hurray 👏🏻 whether that means anything is unknown yet.
Anyway....
Not a NSD today but I did get a LSD- less than a fiver. I knowingly went into that one. I was basically so tired from last night I thought nah... So I bought chips for lunch 👀🙈. Nevermind. I used the correct card today (doesn't help I've got three natw3st cards that all look the same 🙈). So it did come from pocket money which is fine.
I woke up on a deficit this morning and by the time I left work I thought I was going to drop ...we had a walk round somewhere this morning with all students and so my steps were well and truly done by lunchtime. As was my social battery and peopling…And then some more by home time. Work was manic all day and I didn't get even half hour for lunch so I think I'll try and take that back somewhere at the end of the week. Tomorrow is equally as busy but Friday thankfully is not too bad so I reckon I can take it in the afternoon.
Dinner is an easy pasta bake. DP is thankfully home tonight, I've missed him and need a cuddle. I have asked DD to go get ready for the gym early so I can come back after dropping her and put the dinner in, shower and chill for half hour before going to collect her. And that way I'm not sat waiting all evening to have to drop her. I haven't been to the gym all week. And I've no intention. I'm too tired ☹️.
Tomorrow I'm in three different places so the day although busy I hope will fly by, also means I will only be popping into college briefly so won't bump into Miss Toddler. Didn't get the library yet. I think I'm going to just order a book on Amaz0n 🙈👀 as much as I don't want to I like my hour in bed before sleep reading and unwinding. I've not had a chance to get to a shop or library and I've several books in my basket under a fiver. So rather than ruin another NSD I think I'll just get It tonight. Need to sit and work my diary out this evening quickly actually because otherwise I'm in danger of not getting a break at all tomorrow as appointments almost overlap all day 🤔.
Ooo DD is ready for the gym! I'm off to drop her and do dinner.

Abe books is good for cheap books and you can get a little cashback via TCB too 😊
Hear you on the not training atm. I have had to stop today as my shoulder is so wrecked - so frustrating… 🙄🤷♀️
Hope you get a fond evening with DP and it restores you a bit ❤️

DeDearie me, miss toddler sounds a right weirdo- shame for her and others around her if there's some sort of mh going on but that doesn't make it easier for those around

You have to wonder what went wrong with both the interviewing and reference checking! I'd love to be a fly on the wall when that's discussed. Standing by for news of spectacular spoiliness…

I do hope newbie is relocated somewhere or encouraged to leave just because you really do not need the stress or the triggering caused by such silliness or spoilt brat behaviour.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
World of Books is good too.
Glad the toddler behaviour is getting dealt with at last.

If she has anxiety or similar it’s not spoilt brat behaviour but it’s a shame it’s negatively affecting you. I’m guessing if so she didn’t declare it so management can’t offer reasonable adjustments and any support necessary in the training period.
